Brook got good.  I'm not at the game but if I was to just look at this 14 Brook points means defense held them to a low score...OFFENSE NEEDS FINE TUNING, AGAIN.  At the end of the season, we'll know brook record and know if this is a better team than predicted r they played up to LP.  I'm not worried.

Final La Marque 35 Galveston Ball 12.  Lessons learned. Mercer will carry LM, he's solid and fast (not an accurate thrower but call the right pass play and catch the defense selling out for the run).  GBall has a long way to go.

10 mins left in the game. LM 28 Gball 12. Off a fumble, LM/GBall has a little pushing and shoving.  LM picked up a STATE CHAMPIONSHIP with Mercer who tranfered in from Houston Chavez.

LM gets the ball around their 20. A lateral pass is fumbled and run in by Gball.  LM 28 GBall 6 midway through the 3rd

GBall drive stalls after picking up Two firstdowns.  The punt is muffed and Lm gets the ball @ the GBall 46. 1st play for LM is a TD pass. LM 28 GBall 0 with 7:34 in tthe 3rd.  Yea, Gball needs to steal some talent back from LM and Texas City. But Galveston is losing residents and not bright spot looks to be in the near future. But that entire area of Galveston county is hurting.  LM losing kids to T.C. and to Clear Creek ISD and  Dickinson ISD.  Doesn't look good for those 3 schools (T.C., LM and GBall)

2nd half starts. LM driving again.  GBAll jumps offsides. QB throws to an open receiver while Gball defense stands still...aannndddddd he drops it!!!! :o. GBAll holds them due to Coleman (GBALL QB/LB) makes two great stops. Tors ball.

Gball only gets a 2yd run before the half 8). Halftime LM 21 GBall 0. Now to watch the Rice Owls!!!

LM is 5 yds from the endzone and Mercer is stripped by GBall 1;/LB and the Tors run it back to midfield with 44 secs left in the half.

GBall has a respectable crowd.  GBall just doesn't have the numbers to keep up. Don't know the rest of their schedule but they may have a "1 win in 3 yrs" record.

GBall drove to LM 30 yard line but punts to the LM 4yd line.  Tors hold LM to a 3rd and 12 @ the LM 1yd. Mercer (LM QB) does a zone read and runs to the midfield but another unsporstman penalty puts it at LM 35 yd.

G-Ball QB is the ONLY offense they have. Tooo bad he is the starting LB or he'd be able to do a lil more running. BIG kid, looks like a solid 220 LBS.

LM QB has scored two rushing TDs and one passing TD. Lead 21-0.    G-ball has fallen far since I lost to them in the play-offs in 1999.
