Surely the UIL isn't leaking that info. I bet it's just someone's conjecture.
-
Hey is this Viverette kin to the girls who play BB back in the 90s?
-
Caldwell looked good...strong middle. Tarkington made mistakes, but can't take anything away from Caldwell. They won it.
-
according to the games you posted the Defenses are about even... BC's possibly better if you wanna count the LCM's points for alot of it. but it's the ofense that will have to step it up...

So, you agree Cleveland's offense appears to be better, but then I guess we can make of it what we want. I've seen Cleveland play and their defense is very solid. I expect a good game, but Cleveland the winner. -
I'd like to go with Coldspring, but looking at the two schools' schedules and seeing that WOS's was much tougher, I'll go WOS by 7.
-
Judging from their performances against common opponents, Cleveland should win this one.
BC 23 Liberty 15
Cle 29 Lib - 7
BC 0 LCM 16
Cle 36 LCM 39
BC 20 HJ 10
Cle 35 HJ 7 -

Coach Bob Jones down at Shepherd has won almost twice as much games in his first year at Shepherd
I do indeed congratulate Shepherd and Coach Jones, but Coach of the Year is not based on most improved. 22 3A coach of the year should go to the coach who won and kept a good program good. My vote is Ricky Tullos of Cleveland, followed closely by Barbay of Coldspring. -
Will The Woodlands play Klein Forest first?
-
There's only 2 teams in 22 3A that are good, Cleveland and Coldspring. Shepherd started out well but has fizzled. The others are pretty even and any one of those could win against the other on a given night. Huffman has definitely disappointed it fans this year.
-
ndn78,
If I could give you good karma for that post, I would do it over and over. Thanks -
Try NOT to win to get an "easier" road in the playoffs? That's just talk--CS won't do it.
-
Could be a good game. Maybe an upset?
-
Goin' for the underdog on this one--Tarkington by 1

Play Thursday...Grades become official Friday at 3:30 on 11/13.

Astute comment KDOSullivan. -
I know Kirbyville is good, but it is hard NOT to pick Newton.
-
Ya know, I once was so impressed by the PNG's following of their team, but you guys are so rabid, BH will need rabies shots.
-
I agree that Coldspring is way too good and Liberty will lose big. Huffman is definitely favored over Tarkington, but they could be beat if Tarkington could find their Bell-motivated play again--not likely though.

It was a great game no matter whose side you were on...If you insult and demean your opponent, what have you done when you defeat them? Always admire your opponents strength so that in victory, you have accomplished something. Just a thought to grow on.

Logosadore, you are a true sportaman. More of us should adopt this attitude. -
Yes, congratulations to a team that is getting better and better as the season progresses. Good job boys and coaches and fans.
-
Did the Indians get lucky or did they play well? Must've been a good defensive game. Nope, just looked at the Chronicle's stats, and Coldspring moved the ball on Cleveland. It appears from the stats that the turnovers did CS in. Is that so?
-
Congrats to Huffman! I didn't expect such a low scoring game, but I bet it was a good one.
-
No way Liberty beats CS. Tarkington only played one half, and if they'd have played as well in the first half, they'd have beaten Liberty. ColdSprings by 40+.

I think it is safe to say that mother nature is an Indian fan. If this game turns into a mudfest the Indians will be right at home with their ground attack... as the game gets closer and the forecast gets worse I really like the Tribe.
I agree. -
Thinks it's going to be closer than that--but I agree it may be high scoring. 42-35 Huffman. It depends on the weather too. Shepherd has a better chance in the rain.
