I figured BH game would be close...if ya look back BH played everybody close. BH was a good competitive team..just didnt have the right ingredients to click on all cyclinders. Brenham will just purely be out matched here...out of their league. If PNG wins two more games, I think we are looking at the State Champs.

Because they have actually faced good teams this year because they play in a strong competitive district...because their coach is supierior...and just simply because they are better. Brenham beware...this aint no 2-8 team your fixin to line up against. Ive called em all season long and I'll call this one too... PNG Wins this one by 3 TD's and still gets no love the following week. When they beat Angleton the following week...everyone will finally give them their due and say " OK.. I admit it...PNG is the real deal."

He looks amazing..I wonder what he would do against big schools. I have to admit...it looked like he was just outrunning a bunch of 8th graders who didnt seem too concerened about putting a hit on him anyhow. Thats why it is so tough to judge a 1A or 2A or 6man guy. Im sure a back like Harmon or the kid from Central would be All American in 1A.

I saw a live Jaguraundi or whatever ya call it in Burkville season before last..was sitting with my boys on youth weekend. Ive seen a dead cougar on the side of the road in Port Acres right past the bridge heading out towards winnie...that was about 5 years ago. They are definitely around here.

i dont buy it that the old 70's teams would kill everybody. You have to remember that was then..this is now...we are constantly gettin bigger, faster, stronger. heck a your average weight on your o'line back then i'd be willing to bet was 210-220. granted there were some unreal skilled players back then with guys like bergeron and little joe and those guys....todays teams would definitely out man em as far as size. Also..your offensive schemes and defensive schemes are probably more advanced then what DIV1 colleges were running at that time.

I know Vidor and PNG have a few mules...who is the single best in 20-4A. Im not saying the biggest..Im saying who is the one we will see go on to a Div I school and make some noise? Who is the badest big boy on the line ?? I'd like to see one offensive and one defensive selection. I have no clue on offense but man that Dallas Davis fella looks like he has some D1 potential from a DE or even DT spot.

i could care less if they tie zero to zero and play for three weeks strait non stop..im just callin it like i see it...no chance PNG losses..because not only is Central gonna be up from comming off a loss and playing for a share of the district title...but more than that...PNG is playing for a perfect 10-0 season and an undesputed district title. No doubt about it..all parties involved will be on their "A" game as far as want to is concerned. Im just saying both statistically and any other way ya compair..png has proved to be the far superior team. Could they have an "off" game and lose it? Well sure...just like Central to livingston...but..it aint gonna happen.

I think it will be a good game...or let me say i hope it will. I hope im wrong but I have read these boards all season and each week PNG wins and the boards say, ahhh their great but this week will be a different story, and so on and so on and so on. It's now week 10. Lets see.. i think ive counted about 5 games outta the nine they have played where teams should have either beat port neches or given them a run for their money and png handled em with NO PROBLEMS what so ever and actually went into layoff mode in the third quarters. Central is no better then the teams they have played and apparently not better than Livingston. PNG handles this game with ABSOLUTLEY NO PROBLEMS. From an outsider looking in, it's time to give a good team credit where credit is due. thats why im calling an EASY PNG victory friday night. PNG is head and shoulders above the competition. Except i dont think PNG could hang this year with my Caney Creek boys..but thats a different post and my hearts involved in that one...as is you jag fans hearts involved in this one. I can tell ya this .... NEVER bet on your home team with money cause ya make stupid choices. Don't be blinded by your yearnings for central to win...PNG goes over 40 and Central gets held to the low teens.

hey lets drop the kirbyville down to 6 man..i bet he would rush for 4000 yards. Ya cant argue apples and oranges...2a-3a-4a big difference in opposition. ive seen angleton play twice this year..they are a little bit better version of vidor...they are an iluusion...PNg would handle em hands down...no passing attack from angleton AT ALL. You cannot do anything these days in state playoffs with a one dimensional system. A coachin staff like the bunch PNG has would eat that strictly run only game up like a brand new candy bar.

Man if Central could have just been a little bit better team we'd be watching a undefeated district title game this weekend. Still good enough to make the drive to beaumont to watch, but central wasnt quite good enough to go undefeated. man that would have been an awesome atmosphere huh? I just atleast  hope Central can keep it close for atleast 3 quarters..if Im drivin 2 hours to catch this game I hope it's a good one. My luck PNG will be up like 30-0 in the second quarter..i hear Centrals got a great halftime show though..I guess thats a plus.

Is it likely no.... but stranger things have and do happened. Didnt PNG make it to the semi-finals in like 89? After comming of a zero or one win season? I'd be willing to bet they started the season ranked probably just about dead last. So, for a team ranked number 8 going into week 10 to end up playing for a state title...is probably not that uncommon. For that matter to even have a team ranked 8 at this point to win a state title is probably not that uncommon. Although your post is a little far fetched considering them boys at LT could probably beat some smaller college teams..it's still not ludicrous to think PNG could take state this year. Hey...they make it to a game 3 in the playoffs you could be talkin about a ranking of 3 or 4. them boys have been known all year to get better week in and week out so...i could see it. would i bet my paycheck on it no...but would it be a miracle? No. It's more likely that PNG makes it to state than it is that central beats the port neches boys this weekend though.

Faircloth can start the 3rd stringers and still win by 30 in this one. The jags dont know what theyr gettin into here.. the jags can't handle this offense and PNg's defense is gonna have an easy time of it.

Central is lucky to be where they are now..it is only because of a pretty poor district. This will be no game...PNG is extremly stingy on the run...i don't care how fast your are , it's all about the great angles of the PNG defenders. Lets face it..this isnt the first fast team PNG has played this year. They have actually faced a few teams with some premier running backs and running games alot more potent than Centrals. Centrals passing game is a non-factor. Central cant really throw the ball and they wont run the ball to amount to anything in this one. Just as I predicted the Central upset last weekend..im predicting PNG rolls in a game that will pretty much amount to a good "tune-up" for Barbers Hill, which will be a good "Tune-Up" leading the week 2 in the playoffs for PNG. This thread is a joke....just as Centrals season is a illusion. I called the upset and Im staying put with my pics....PNG takes it hands down by 30...atleast untill Faircloth takes out the starters.
