i know yates is in the way and they are a huge road block but whats wrong with a lil wishing /hopeing and alot of praying.just hope they stay focused enough to finish out district by hanging another district championship banner to enter the playoffs strong.....

i agree it will be extremely hard for ozen to get back to austin but im getting my room and tickets anyway.....if by any chance they dont go ill still be there wearing my blue and gold proudly. Im just happy to see that the kids are finally feeding into coach savetts system. it took a while for them to get things started but lately they have been rolling.

tonight i think kobi came to beaumont with big perk and wore number 10 for ozen. d frank was amazing tonight 9 threes at half for 31 and 12 of 15 from long distance to finish with 48. Ive been following ozen basketball for a long time. and im glad i was there to see this kid finally put together a game like this. when he came out of the game with about 3 mins left in the 4th alot of people around me quietly booed.....they didnt want to see the show end.congrats to franks and ozen for the impressive win. After this post  i will book my room in austin.

tonight im glad i can say i was a witness of the shooting performance of d frank.....it has been a long time coming but im glad to see him have a stand out game. alot of his haters will say he went 12 of 15 from long distance because he was playin selfish......not the case tonight he involved his entire team and the panthers couldnt be stopped.congrats to d frank and the entire panther team. great win and i hope coach savette and his staff can keep things going as well as they are. I was hesitant early in the season but i guess i better reserve my room in austin.

during football season beej made a comment about the central ozen matchup being at stat game. he really stirred the pot when he said what he said. but when all was said and done as hard as it is for me to say......he was right. Coach lee has done a great job in making those kids believe they can beat anyone they play...and recently it seems as if ozen is finally believing the same thing....Cant wait for the game friday just hope i can get there early enough to get a good seat. Anyone know the time of the freshmen and jv games. and what will those matchups be like

the bulk of ozens freshmen team are from southpark. I believe they went undefeated both 7th and 8th grade years....nederlands freshmen group has good size and a few guards thts can shoot the ball very well....It will be a good one but my vote goes to ozen.

IM loving this. This game has finally become what it should have been for a long time....A cross town rival game that actually means something. Both teams need this win to get into the playoffs. It cant get better than that. But jag beware that all that talk is only adding gas to the panthers fire.

ill be sure to wake up early saturday morning and drink some while im reading the headlines that say ozen outlast centrals running game and wins a close one. I gave central their credit for being a good football team but this week IMO the panthers find a way to win

i think this game will determine how strong of a team ozen really is. After this win people will finally realize that ozen has a good team and finally a coaching staff that makes good decisions.

i agree ozens fastest I took off from work just to make sure i cld make it to the game early enough to get a seat. Its been a while since this game has ment anything in the previous years ozen has usually been out of the playoff picture by time they play central this time its a diff. story. central can clintch a playoof birth and with the win ozen can get a step closer. I really feel that coach nelson and his staff will do whatever it takes to have the panthers focused and ready to play four quarters...that what it will take cause central is a good team(just giving respect where it is due) but the panthers will WIN

beejay 3 I know your coaches have taught you to play one game at a time. But im glad to see that yall are taking ozen lightly. just be aware that yall can win in every stat colum except for the main one the WIN colum...True enough this will be a tough game but i really feel that the panthers understand the importance of this game. Ill be there cheering as loud as i can to help the panthers win.

this weeks game OZEN vs central should be a real good game....Ozen is jelling at the right time and central is at the top in the district.

against lumberton francis proved that he is the best lb in 204a and # 53 is a soph. but is becoming a beast. Overall it was a great win for the panthers the o and d were finally on the same page in the second half.

i agree with just me.... francis is great but the combo of harmon and francis is outstanding in my opinion ozen has the best lb crew in 204a. and ozen's kickers have done a great job also to this point. One matchup i cant wait to c is francis on offense and beard trying to make a stop.....

its funny how a westbrook fan can say lumberton will outcoach ozen......The last time i checked ozen's new coach came from brook.. From the bruins record it sure seem like they cld us him back. We can go toe to toe about what team has the better lb wr or even kickers...the bottom line is both team are in the same boat. they both need a win to keep a playoff birth alive.....We can say all we want on here but the kids will determine the out come fridaynight....All we can do is sit in the stands and cheer....and that exactly wht i will be doing cheering my panthers to victory

the stadium is a great idea durley and babe are both dated stadiums. but at least the jags and bruins have a home...Ozen doesnt even have a home stadium it is kind of upsetting that we have to sit and watch our panthers play home games on fld that say jags and bruins....The stadium Is good For all three schools......Great idea bisd

fumbles have been a big part of the panthers loosing the last couple of weeks...so I guess the outcome of this won will be determined by how well the off. Takes care of the ball. About the quote of blocking number one.....LOL Good luck raiders R. Francis is a beast
