is ozens jv player nick nelson the son of their new head coach......Is the transfer rule keeping him from playing varsity or is he just not ready for the varsity level? I got to the jv game late it was the 4th qrt....i saw him make a few nice receptions...talk in the stands said he almost had 250yrds with two or three td.....Numbers like that are friday night numbers.

big tank you took the words right out of my mouth....Its almost like we know each other. Its seems like the people from vidor are thinking us fans from ozen are coming to start a riot or something....(we are not the ones who has held a bad reputation) I cant speak for all but i know most fans from ozen are classy and the only thing on our minds is cheering our panthers to victory. I have never been apart of any uneasy situations while in vidor so i dont expect or anticipate any. Oh yeah the panther win this game by 14

good post francis harmon hines and hale are all great deffensive players and they all should be getting more reconition. Francis and harmon both play off. for ozen so the plays they make on d. are done without ever getting a break. Those kids are outstanding

if number 42 wld stop paying so much attention to what ozen is and isnt doing this year he might be playing at tcu this year....I think r. francis and P harmon along with the other 9 players on deff. are very capeable of stoping the vidor run game.The key to this game is ozen off. THEY HAVE TO SCORE....no more turnovers and silly mistakes...THis year I have seen the panthers have stand out deff games. its time for the off to come alive. From what i can see they have key players in key positions They all need to be on the same page.....This will be the week ozen by 14

if ozen can eliminate turnovers and mental mistakes they will win this game. Giving respect where needed ....vidor has a great off. but as and advantage to the panthers its the same off they got a heavy dose of friday...This time i think ozen will be ready to step up and stop the run....if that is the case this will be a great game with ozen winning

i have been around the sport of football all my life and it has always amazed me how a simple game can do so much for young men. It can give the disciplen, courage,motivation, it teaches them that hard work will always pay off. But it isnt the sport alone that teaches theese life lessons. The coaches are the people that will always make a difference in an athlete life sometimes a win isnt necessarly only won on the fld it can be won when a child can judge an oponent by their character and not their color or when the so called thug goes to college and not to jail. With the standards that the coaches have put in place and the standars that the kids in the program live by......theese two teams will always be successful

the nederland game

this game should be very interesting....The lions seems to have a very athletic team. Number 21 is really good but he is no dustin harris. Ozen is coming off a big win and im sure those kids are eager to become 2and0 in district. The panthers will win this game even if it turns out to be a close game. The nederland taught the kids to fight to the end.

ozen took their bumps and bruises in pre season i think they will be tough to beat in district play. If their rb white comes back they will have a great crew of backs....against worthing the freshman rb had 179 yards and three tds the small back#11 had 121....add a healthy white and that will be an agressive offensive team.The past three weeks their d has came out like gang busters but the o cldnt get it together. but its probably safe to say that the offensive minded nelson will hame them ready to play each week.

question.....Is the second string qb that much better the the kid who played against friendswood...I have only seen the dawgs play twice the wos gane and friendswood....the replayed version on tv. If below's fill in is a strong smart qb....this game may be interesting but it will take more than a good second string qb to beat ozen

this will be a tough one for da brook.....I think once the team realizes that christine is playing on saturdays then they will gel.....It just seem like everyone is waiting on 33 to run out of the locker room. They are stacked with great players year in and year out it is time for those young dudes to step up and make a name for themselves.
