I agree for the most part...all the other stuff is out of the window...Crosby has some really good talent on the field...wish I could see this one but you guys play when my Lobos do...going to be some great THSFB...

obviously further than you think...I watched the whole thing including my Lobos losing their cool...see my other response...just saying the talent level for TH was very noticeable than from many years past when they took the field, 1st team against 1st team...

I think you are taking me the wrong way. I also know how the scrimmage started and how it ended as I was there on the Longview side. The first team starters were Teeing off on each other...those two schools always go at each other. My simple point of bringing it up was that normally Texas High can't match Longview across the board with team speed but they looked better this year than I have seen them ever matching up. It was interesting and surprising to see. Again, my point was they looked better from a talent and skill perspective as a whole than they have in the last 10-15 years...means no more and no less...

Texas High will not be surprised by Crosby's speed...Texas High hung with Longview very well at the start of the year. Longview has some of the top speed across the board of any program in Texas... I think this is going to be one to the top 2 games in 5AD2 this week...it should be a slobber knocker...I don't get the blowout predictions. This game will come down to the Texas high defense. I say TH by 10

This one definitely did not turn out how I expected....Longview played really well in the second half and limited BWB to 1 score...that was definitely a great second half...I hope the Lobos continue to build on it...we only have 2 good teams in our district so I hope we keep up the work...Good luck to WB the rest of the way...if they can figure out some defense, they will be a hard out.

Ill be interested to see how their defense holds up...if they can't stack 8-9 in the box and stop us then I do like our chances...we should be able to keep the WB offense off the field. We definitely aren't built for a shoot out but can grind out a win. This should be a great measuring stick for both teams at this point in the season. Longview definitely needs another solid test to see how far we have come since getting beaten up by Temple in the opener.

Legacy had rushed for 915 yds in first two games, Lobos held them to 107 on 32 carries. It was a really good game. Longview pulled away in the second half. Legacy could not throw the ball well...that is not going to be an issue with WB. Longview has got to put together its best game of the season this week.

With the WB offense and ultra talented QB, they should be favored. Longview is a young team that is trying to decided between 2 sophomore QBs. We are just getting to the point of playing consistently. The Longview defense is solid and will get an incredible test. this is going to be a great game.

Yep...I hope Meredith can stay healthy so these younger guys can get some good routine down. If our Oline develops and these kids grow, we could do some damage in the playoffs....just hate we will be in the toughest region by classification in all of THSFB in my opinion...

A few highlights of Jalen Hale as a Freshman...He started on varsity as a WR....first freshman to score a touchdown as a Lobo freshman since the 40s I believe. as a WR [Hidden Content] In BBall [Hidden Content] and for the record, I don't normally post all these type of highlights, but I have been watching Lobo football for 35 years. I have never seen two sophomores who had so much promise getting to play on varsity.

No, Landyn will be drafted in Baseball...Jalen Hale is the kid you are talking about. He is also a sophomore and he is a WR. He is a stud in Basketball....he has P5 offers already...

He's a pretty good athlete and can definitely spin the ball...he's a lefty and has an arc on his ball that he will have to improve on but he's pretty solid...Time will tell if he can pick up the more complex offensive sets we used with Haynes King....if he does that, Longview will be really tough....here is a highlight link from last year as our Freshman QB. I am very happy to see my Lobos pick up Westbrook. We lost West Monroe from the schedule and definitely got a good replacement game.

You better pray Jefferson makes the playoffs or Arp is gonna get beat like a rented mule by Daingerfield!! then it will be - boo hoo :'( :'( By the way...Kirbyville lost by one point to WOS and by 9 to Jasper (who has only lost to Gilmer)...As a matter of fact, in the Jasper game they had 6 turnovers and still only lost in the final minutes of the game... Who has Arp played??? Tatum or Alto (1A)...what a joke... This game will no doubt be a slug fest but Arp will start basketball season before Kville... ;D ;D
