I really feel sorry for who ever is 3rd in this district if they have to go to Forney...you guys are going to get hosed....worst officiating I have seen in a while. You can see it in both the Longview and Lancaster games...both teams way outgained forney and had penalties occur at the worst possible times when they were driving for a score...they don't even try to hide it.

The Lufkin-Lancaster game in week 10 will decide who PAM plays. It should be Lancaster. If that happens, it is guaranteed to be the best 1st round game in 5AD1 Rg 2

We have a long way to go. We almost gave the game away Friday night to #10 Forney. That should have been a 21+ point win. Aledo is not doing that. If we played right now, I see Aledo with a 14-17 point win with LGVW chasing them the whole game.

Man...there are some really dynamic and defensive teams out there in Region 2. PLus, we haven't put together a solid game yet. Defense showed some flaws when Lancaster scored 35 on us. We will see how it looks on Friday when we play Forney.

I will definitely be watching this game. Interested to see the PAM run defense this year.

The more I look at this region, the more I see the side of the bracket that #1 from your district and our district will go to is crazy...that is going to be murderers row.....

Posting this specifically to hear from the Barbers Hill fans. Would like to know what you thought of Timberview. Also how similar to PAM are they?

Same to you guys. PAM has strong talent this year. I thought the game would be closer but the mistakes and missed opportunities for PAM were big. There is no doubt in my mind that these last three games have pushed our defense in different ways...the Crosby and PAM games will be critical for what is coming up in the next two weeks if we keep winning.

Lol...you are PAM's fan version of 14.2...what a narcissistic clown... I said a few weeks back, most people don't get "impressed" by Longview but they don't win either.

I look forward to games like this because of the type of town we are playing. A good sized blue collar town that isn't DFW/Houston/Austin mega school (or soon to be mega school). Lots of similarities in the schools and the people who live there. I thought the same thing when we played BWB in the title game several years ago. Glad to see like towns/schools have this success. I get some of our fans and the degree of confidence. There are a lot of non Longview fans in that thread who are predicting some of the craziness and being down right disrespectful. Most of us know what PAM is going to put on the field on Friday. We also know there is a problem defensively in discipline with PAM. You guys have given up a lot of points and honestly shouldn't have. So yeah that's gives us confidence because we know our defense will get some stops. Other than the rain, turnovers, penalties, this game comes down to two things that are pretty simple in my eyes. Does Longview coach get conservative and play into PAMs defense. You guys have trouble stopping the run but have gotten pretty stout on the interior. When LV gets conservative we will continually run it right at you. This could lead to several three and outs and hurt us getting into a rhythm. The other is the PAM QB. We had trouble with Lancaster's QB. He was quick and could throw on the run...but he was one of the fastest players we have seen all year. If PAM QB is more like Crosby's QB than Lancaster, then we will be good. As far as athleticism goes if PAM doesn't have the edge, then these teams are even. One poster said that he saw film and LV looked slow. In 35 years of watching LV football, that is the first time I have ever heard that. It will be a very athletic and physical game on Friday. I hope whatever refs show up, they let these boys play. I got LV in this game because of the way both teams have played through most of the year. But I have no doubt that PAM can win this game if LV doesn't play the way we know they can. Safe travels on Friday.

PAM has been Jekyll and Hyde all year, ,so I can see why some would think LV would potentially blow them out. Honestly, I think that is a BIG mistake. PAM will be the more athletic team and this should be a very physical game. PAM will have to play a solid game themselves. The last few weeks, Longview has come out flat and made quite a few mental mistakes. We have also been hit by the injury/illness bug and have 2 oline and 2 LB/DL out. We will need to be healthy and come out ready to go with our hair on fire for this game. Should be a great one.

LOL...talk to any Lobo player, coach, and normal fan, we know we are 0-0 and only guaranteed to play next week. Hoping for a good game. I will be very interested to see LV against PAM and all that speed on the field.

Anahuac was in this game for a while. Franklin made some great adjustments and anahuac started to fall apart.

I really am thinking this game is going to be good. I will be interested to see if BH learned anything from the PAM game and dealing with a team that is more athletic than them defensively. If they don't turn the ball over and stay versatile on offense, they should be in this. The predictions also say a lot to me to about how close this game should be. DCTF has MTV by 9 Stepp has MTV by 6

Anahuac is playing extremely disciplined. I think they are doing really well getting to the edge. If they can keep it up, it will be a banger in the second half.

Timberview may be ranked #2 but they had trouble with Frisco Heritage. It will be interesting their running game against the BH front 7.

Agree to disagree. They held McNorth to 6 points who just put 41 on PAM. Before this game, Forney's only losses are to 3 teams that are a combined 29-4 and moved on to the second round...BH just played a hell of a game and beat a good team. Its about match ups and I called it before this game. Forney had no answer for the BH Dline

all things considered with the weather, the Forney offense is really not that bad...I think this says more about the BH defense than Forney being a bad team.
