Its obvious that Stork being out is going to hurt was with the deep ball and in the passing game but I don't understand bringing one of your better defenders over to try to replace him creating another hole on the other side of the ball.

40 hurt is hand but was able to continue to play , 74 was sick, 42 took a blow to the head was early in the game was not allowed to continue but should be OK

This was real good win. It's good to see the team keep fighting. I also like the fact that Frasier got in there and kicked the game winning FG. I have no problem with kids going both ways but it need to be effective and not just wearing them down.

If all they are going to use him for is a decoy there is no need to have him in there wasting all his energy running all over the field. But the somebody else in there to run all over. Let him go back to be Safety, where he has more catches.

They can but the Eagle mascot in the game and let it run around and be decoy all night.

If they dont get Hopper back on defense, because they are totally wasting him on offense,who knows what will happen. You take one of your best defenders and put him on offense and then you throw the ball at him twice all the while your defense is getting toasted deep. He caught more balls on the defensive side the ball than he has on offense. Besides all that we really need him back in there at safety. ??? ???

I just have one thing to say. Can someone please tell me why you would take #40 Mitchell Hopper, one of your better defenders, move him to receiver and then you throw the ball two him twice. You cant tell me that he means more to the offense than defense.......COME ON MAN Put him back at Safety where he belongs and lets someone else go in on offense and play DECOY. He is way to valuable on defense. He means to much to this team and the defense to have him just running routes.

Really...... You were there to do the stats or you were their do their stats ? ImJusSayn.... But i believe this is exactly what I was saying about the test scores but after reading this post I am not so sure anymore.....

I don't think Dayton TAKS test scores as well as some others areas are all that great. A student that is an OK student but a great athlete can move to school like this and become a good student as well as a great athlete and they all of sudden become even more appealling to scouts and what not.....You get the picture

It's hard to argue.... Stats dont lie

Looking at the following stats: BH's Matthew Viverette: Passing54 / 97 for 780, Rushing: 104 attempts for 565 GCM's Cody Larson: passing 55/ 96 for 744, Rushing: 20 attempts for 103 Daytons Payton Ploch: Passing 32 / 61 for 571, Rushing: 88 attempts for 586 Looking at these numbers I would say that BH's Matthew Viverette should be considered right at the top if not the top QB, right now. And lets not forget he is a converted Cornerback playing QB for the first time. He's only improving. He has lost one of his deep threats with Caleb Stork breaking his collarbone but other are stepping up. ImJusSayn

This a really bad situation. I don't know about everyone else but it's to the point where I really dont my or anyone else's kids going over there to play any sports. The first time we went over there after they changed our District they had the cops there arrestting some kids for stealling some gym equipment. And I am not joking. The coach was out there saying that he was going to have to start keeping things on the roof. I really think the district should look into not playing any games at their place. This has gotten seriously out of control. Football is a real emotional sport as it is and then you put this kind of pressure on top of it. Our KIDS should not be subject to this type of situation........

I would really like GCM to get lucky and win this one, Dayton needs to taste a little defeat in the district, but I just don't think it's going to happen. Also its looks as though the fields are going to be little wet. If GCM is going to rely on its passing game it might be a lil slippery and Dayton is more of power team so it won't bother them as much.

Talked to a few folks today and it sounds as though stork going to have surgery tomorrow. I was told that he is going to a shoulder specialist in Houston, who works with the rockets and other pro teams/colleges, who I dont think will release him to do anything if he is not ready. Anyway, I hope everything goes OK and We wish him a speedy recovery.

One area of concern is at the cornerback position. I think oneside has really stepped up but yet the other side seems to be getting picked one. You would think that maybe they would let the one getting picked one move back to the safety position where he played last year, because there is no doubt that he will lay the wood and bring up one of the safeties toplay corner either one of the safeties would be able to handle this change when needed. We have issues picking up blocks in the back field right now. I know running a sweep seems a little easy to P/U a block on the linebacker. I really liked the way the option looked Friday night, the few times they ran it.

Dawson is in reference to Pearland Dawson, to whom someone compared Dayton. So I doubt they or their crew are about to be "trucked". GCM on the other hand, wins by 3. Come On, Ranger83.....put down the pipe. You can't be serious. GCM wins by 3, over who? DAYTON 42 / GCM 3......Yes, thats lower than my previous prediction

From what I saw at the Pearland Dawson game GCM dont really stand a chance. Ploch will run all over them and the Dayton D will be way to much for the GCM QB and the little #21 RB. Dayton walks through this one 42 - 14 Dayton.

BH had better come out to play. Just because Crosby beat CE King dont mean squat. They(CE King) are not going to just rollover and play dead....
