  1. I have not seen them but I was told that their skilled positions are supposedly pretty fast.
  2. With Stork out for who knows how long. The word is he going to see a surgeon on Monday to discuss his options and try to get back as soon as he can. And then with Meyers out for who knows how long. You would think they might try to preserve Mathew just a little. I really liked seeing the option on Friday night and Andrew really looked good in the backfield and he is only going to get stronger with his blocking and running. If they can keep Mathew healthy and not get him beat to death and with the play of the defense things are looking good. We need to make the season as long as possible for Stork to get back on the field. Sure hate seeing this happen to a kid that has worked so hard and to have this happen his senior year just BITES.... :-[
  3. The eagles started a little slow on the offense side but the boys hung in there and finally got things rolling. The defense came out for the second half with unbelievable intensity and I think that spread to the offensefor the second half as well. The boys did a great job. Keep it up.....
  4. I agree 100%..... Things go south really fast when you start calling out KIDS.
  5. They have to try and get something positive out of this situation. It will give someone else an opportunity to step-up and the rest of the O-line will have to rally together and pick up the slack. Footballfever you are correct they have to do the right thing but this kid might have screwed up his life before it ever really got started. SomethingS you do as a kid will tag along with you forever. DOING THE RIGHT THING ISN'T ALWAYS THE EASIEST THING TO DO BUT ITS ALWAYS THE RIGHT THING TO DO.....
  6. BH89-2 you are sure to get some response from the volunteers in the concession stand for that NACHO CHEESE comment. But please dont hurt yourself or pull a HAMMY trying to get to the NACHO'S. Sure would hate it if we had to get the trainers over to fix you up....
  7. Oh, one more thing why do you feel as though you need to tell the boys their 40 times. ??? They are the ones actually doing the running. And they are doing this while you sit on your rear in your "GOOD SEAT" eating your nachos. Done
  8. For the record everyone knows where the 'big board' is by the coaches office. And no, they aren't accurate times. When you have one person tell them to go and another starting a stopwatch at the other end, just how exact is that going to be, but i guess you knew this already....Why don't you start posting the benchpress #'s and their agility time's as well.... SO before you post them..give the kids enough credit to get their current times! As far as, Cy Ranch being a JV squad, exactly what is it you are trying to imply? They were less of a team? Our boys go out and play with heart every week, and that was a solid win they walked away with last week. From now on, if you can't say something nice, how bout you not comment on our kids! Find another school to harass!
  9. Have you been to game???? Have you seen anybody catch any of the kids you just named from behind???? I dont think so. Is there faster kids out there....Of course there is. Nobody claimed to have world record speed but we have good speed. And on the times, some of these times are old. You take it for what it is.
  10. Sure hate to hear that about any player.
  11. I don't think anybody gave this team much credit going into this season. But what I can tell you is that this is basically the same group of Kids that went undefeated in district play as freshman. I am not predicting a repeat of that, but they have a lot of talent and heart. One thing they will do is compete and leave everything they got on the field. Now, we have always had some rapid fans. And they don't always now when to be quiet. ;D
  12. This team has a few really good athletes on it. Some good speed and strength
  13. Lets not forget about Jesse Morton who I have been told is one of the best blockers out there.
  14. Exactly.... with Caleb Stork on one side and Carter Smith on the other and Wade Duke in the middle, you would think we should be able to spread the defense and keep them on thier heels. But we have to keep the turnovers down and come up with a running game. I can't say this enough, Cade Bradford got put in on defense and bull rushed his man straight back into the QB, this is something we need more of and Andrew did a good job running. This could turn out to be a huge change. With all this being said the offense has been doing a good job and has put up some good numbers......
  15. I agree it seems as though the play calling is a little more aggressive this year, but with the receiving group that is in there, why not.
  16. I don't think Price is calling plays, but regardless of the plays that are called we have to execute up front. I hope that they let Cade Bradford play the D-line and then bring one of the D-linemen over to help out on offense. Could make a huge difference. Also, the offense has put up some really nice numbers, minus the turnovers, so far this season.
  17. Not sure what Galena Park has done this season but I think BH is going to come out on top..... ;D
  18. the "big guy" that usually kicks was sick...the new guy #26 actually kicked PATs last year, but got injured...
  19. It also helps if QB has a little time to scan.... Although I dont believe that they let them check off very often.
  20. Have you been watching BH very long. When is the last time that they didn't have an offense that the QB didn't run 70 to 80% of the time. You are correct about the speed they have right now and I think that they are trying to evolve into a different style of offense.
  21. The receiver's are doing to a good job,# 21 and 81 are off to a good start and the running game looked a little better with #20 in the back field. Last night they let Cade Bradeford,#34, play on the D-line and he killed the guy in front of him, drove him all they way back and into the QB's face. Looked like that is something they should take advantage of. As far as the QB goes he is definitely improving every game and his throws are getting sharper.
  22. BH wins despite 6 turnovers. Defense and special teams played an excellent game. Offense moved the ball but had too many turnovers. The running game looked good when Andrew was in the backfield and when they let Cade Bradford play the defense line he could not be stopped, you talk about a bull rush. He might have found his calling on the D-line... #21 was pulling in any balls that came close and had some really nice YAC for the third game in a row.
