There are so many talented student athletes in the SETX region. It would be hard to for someone to rank just ten of them. Each athlete brings a different aspect to their respective teams!

SETXsports will be dipping into the LIVE video broadcasts starting this week with a doubleheader basketball broadcast on Tuesday night. The Woodville girls and boys basketball teams will play host to Pollock Central in district action and SETXsports will be there with a LIVE video broadcast of both games. SETXsports owner Jordan Wilson will produce this broadcast on a trial run to see what kind of response and feedback we get for this entity. If everything goes well, we will continue with some other video broadcasts for the rest of the basketball season and thru the baseball/softball season as well.
Other tentative basketball video broadcasts schedule will be Buna at East Chambers (Friday, Feb. 1), Hardin-Jefferson at Silsbee (Tuesday, Feb. 5), PA Memorial at Nederland (Friday, Feb. 8) and Central Heights at Woodville (Tuesday, Feb. 12).
Yours truly will provide all the play by play.

Looks like the decision has been made. I have been asked to come out of semi retirement to broadcast the Buna/EC game.

East Chambers should be extremely good next season. I think they were honestly one of the top four teams in the state last season. Jarrell was not a better team, than EC. They won the game, and had the size to beat EC, but EC missed a crazy amount of uncontested layups and shots. They were a very nervous group going into the game. I think this season they get it done. I think EC might finally get to hang that Runnin' Bucs State Championship Banner!

If you like fast pace basketball, then this is the game for you. One of the best rivalries in the state of Texas. With both teams being 4-0 in district, I expect this to have a playoff atmosphere to it.
