Panther Blue will Ozen have spring training ? B) 

RG3 dropped the ball last year underutilizing #25 R.R. on the offensive side of the game. This young man has skills and should have a great season provided the O-line coach has game. Crank it up Suggs...Go Panthers... :lol:  

I hope coach does well, but in all the sports at Ozen when are we going to say it may be the talent level or the amount of talent that is there . So yes they won in basketball but  that talent level is not there now, and in football they have had only two winning coaches, Ozen is not a football school and that happen when west brook was open  ; Ozen will never be Hebert  and the real Panthers know that . Oh don't miss understand me Ozen has talent  but not enough to run 20-5a, and you aau and little league football coaches you know your programs there is with Central players and kids, and the pop warner is not the top little league program in the area and never was there players or smaller and by the time they hit high school the kids pass them up in size and catch there speed , Now again don't get me wrong Beaumont is big enough to have three good programs, but the city really needs just two high schools; ''Understand I'm in agreement with you on your assesssment. I'd like to be bold and take it a step further with mucho gonads and have one 6A high school in Beaumont. Grades 11 and 12 at the current Ozen site and grades 9 and 10 at the current Westbrook site. The 6 middle schools would remain as is. Wishful thinking i know, ''they'' would never be that brave. jmo, it would be like ''Bama'' around here roll tide roll LoL !

Dont like looking backwards but puzzled why would BISD hire K.Magee who coached @ FortBend Willowridge 2004-2011 8 years with a record of

22-49 ??? Per MaxPreps... Who interviews the applicants and is there an inside conspiracy for mediocracy @ Ozen in retaliation to "Butch" since Ozen was his pet project from its begining. Ozen was allowed to retain the blue and gold colors & the mascot PANTHERS keeping the PearOrchard alive and well. The truth hurts and somedoby continues to get even on the athletic level. You old C.P. Bulldog and Panther Alum know where this coming from. Sad but true...... :( jmo B) 

Coach Suggs graduated from Western Kentucky in 1982 he's approximately 54....

PS3 and ATKINS reminds me of that old FRAM OIL commercial -"You can pay me now or you can pay me later."-  I'm just elated there's a proven head coach in place despite that Interim Tag Attachment. :rolleyes:

Suggs knows defense, I'll give him his props there. Hopefully he brings in a top notch offensive line coach which is desperately needed.

With approximately 6 weeks of school remaining will the urgency to settle Ozen's debacle take some priority for the student athletes sake ? The power that was seems more interested in well I want go there. Tomorrow it'll officially be determined whether ''THEY'' will appeal the ruling. In the mean time the kids continue to be punished/deprived of a head football coach. I wish this issue could be tabled at tomorrow school board meeting and let Fred Shafer/Conservator call it, Plez Atkins ???? The Hire the school board approved and TEA cleared.  

Get out the popcorn and libations this one is really off the chart. What if the great BISD decided to have one super high school in the city of Beaumont and named Toby Foreman head coach. The movie Remember the Titans comes to mind. The healing and coming together as a community behind a powerful and successful football program is what the doctor ordered. After all football is king in southeast Texas. The economy,jobs and realestate would be revitalized from the influx of new residents pouring in. We would have another Katy,Texas here in Beaumont. Coach Durley at Westbrook proved this needed healing

can be accomplished through success on the grid iron. Atheletics and academics would flourish at the new 6A Beaumont Titans. Ok this dream is over and I'm waking up to a divided community,disdained school board,TEA investigations and FBI raids on intrusted BISD employees.

It seems Atkins would have a better shot at retaining his HIRE with TEA at the Helm than with the current BISD/ADMIN. that's in place. I have no earthly idea whether or not theOzen Fans,Parents or the old ''Hebert alumni'' are willing to give Atkins a shot. I've heard the players are ready to give Atkins their all. Just an observation. 

Anyone ''CAN'' file a Lawsuit whether they prevail is a matter of law. IMO Atkins has 3 choices: Accept what has been done to him, Fulfill the job the school board voted to give him(The Hire) or file his lawsuit to challenge the person who speaks with fork TONGUE :angry: .......

Can anyone in the know explain what's really going on in the process of getting a coach hired at OZEN ? Is Atkins in or officially out ? Is he allowed on campus ? Is there really a new list of applicants ?  Is there a time line to start the interviewing ? Is there an attempt to get it done sooner than later ? 

Chargois was asked 2 weeks ago by a BISD board member via 12News-TV was MaGee still on BISD payroll and Chargois refused to answer.

Chargois stated it was a personnel matter that would be discussed in executive session. Sources say MaGee is on the payroll till June despite his resignation. What a deal. Smh.... :o 

BISD ALLEDGELY still has Coach Magee on the payroll and Coach Atkins will win his case against BISD Admin. If they dont hire him they'll settle out of court because its a slam dunk case. Then that leaves a need for another new HIRE. That adds up to 3 coaches getting paid WOW !!! Just an observation and a  opinion..... :ph34r: 

Per 12 News tonight 3-27-2014 Plez Atkins feels he's still Ozen's coach and has hired an Austin attorney to represent him. It's a legal technicality in that Atkins feels the BISD board hasnt fired him and  "Chargois" has asked him to resign. What a mess. The student athletes are the ones getting punished and thats sad. :(  

Per 12 News tonight 3-27-2014 Plez Atkins stated he's still Ozen's coach until fired by the BISD board and has hired an Austin attorney to represent him. What a twist of events !

Mr.Buddy Garrity you hit the nail dead on the head ! There's an agenda and the AD is the ring leader. He's an old CP Bulldog and still holds a grudge against The PearOrchard and that old blue and gold. They'll never place a top notch football coach there as long as that bunch is running the show at BISD. Good luck and congrats coach Atkins welcome to 20- 4A.

Curious to know what 4 applicants made the final 4 for the Ozen head football coaching job. A very qualified coach comes to mind that can and have connected with the student athletes at that school previously. ''IMO'' BISD will need to spend some Neumann/Faircloth ''MONEY''!!!! to get Arthur or a proven head coach. No change will come with the hiring

of less unless there's another Toby Foreman out there, Oh by the way was he was destined to be Ozen head coach but some slick moves by well i want go there. :rolleyes: The fix was in and instead Ozen got McGee B) ......The hiring process is ridiculously too slow ,which implies the seriousness is not there ! The Ozen parents and fans should get your AD energized ! However it dosent take rocket science to determine the motive ijs B) Opinions we all have our own...
