blah, blah, blah, heard the same thing last year. Put this player here, put that player there. This aint working, gotta do this. You guys......There is a reason Silsbee tries to schedule top notch teams, teams that are not push overs. They make us see our flaws so we can work on them. And, just like last year watch this year play out. For me, knowing these players the way I do, I'm going to bet on the players to work their butts off and get it going in the right direction. As of right now, Silsbee and Newton are playing.

Just talked to Coach Smith a little while ago. The Silsbee Tigers will report for practice Monday at 3:30. There will be a game with Newton on Friday, don't know about JV game. TigerNation!!!

I believe the Tiger offense can score in the high 20's like they did last year. The question is can the Tiger defense slow down the Indians offense. I don't think the Indians offense is as good as last year, maybe a half a step behind. So, can the Tiger defense slow down the Indians offense by a couple of TD's. I think this year will be a more competitive game. TigerNation!!!

Silsbee is not afraid to invite anyone to homecoming, never have been. Hebert, Jasper, Lincoln, WOS and so forth, we don't discriminate. Pick one out and we'll play. I do hope homecoming is on the cool side this year. I always remember back in the day that homecoming was cool weather.

I hope the elderly lady on the Silsbee side that got to hot and had to be put on a stretcher in an ambulance is ok. Silsbee has speed, that's a given every year. Another year in new coach system has them looking more comfortable. Things to work on is consistently in passing game and blocking up front. I like the effort. Lumberton has got size, huge size. They are a load. They can pass and move the chains and can push the pile with that big Oline. If they can get the right combination they will be a hand full.
