No joke. So far for practice and scrimmage's the weather has been favorable. Now that the season is about to start the weather doesn't look good.

The 2017 season opener for both Silsbee and P.A. Memorial is Monday as Silsbee will travel to Port Arthur in the first game of the season. The Tigers and Titans have played seven times since 2010 with Silsbee owning a 4-3 record over that span. JV starts at 4:30 and varsity starts at 7:00.

This scrimmage has been cancelled. On to the regular season! TigerNation!!!

Friday is the last tune up before the regular season starts next week. Silsbee travels to Vidor for the final scrimmage of the year. JV starts around 4:30 and varsity about 6.

Just know it has been moved to Monday the 13.

The scrimmage between the Tigers and Raiders has been moved from Tuesday to Monday. So this scrimmage version of the Village Creek Classic will be Monday in Lumberton. JV starts about 4:30 and varsity around 6:00.

Can y'all believe it, we have gone two full weeks of uninterrupted baseball right here in southeast Texas. No rain, no cold weather, nothing to move the boys inside. How nice it has been so far. BUT, just over the horizon the ole weather man has rain and cold weather next week. That will be more like normal southeast Texas baseball weather. First off LCM didn't hold anything to nothing the last time we played. The Silsbee Tigers did what we always do in a big lead we take our foot off the gas a little.
