The Silsbee Tigers will travel to Sour Lake to take on the Hardin Jefferson Hawks in a non-district tune up for these old district foes. The Tigers are 15-6 in the past 21 game against the Hawks splitting the series last year and Silsbee with a 6-2 win in the Jasper Tournament earlier this year. It will be a early start as the JV will start at 2:30 and Varsity will start at 4:30.

I talked to a guy that was on the Silsbee power lifting team in the 90's and he said five straight years of team power lifting state titles.

So far the Tuesday games have been far from easy for Silsbee.

The Silsbee Tigers (9-1) host the East Chambers Buccaneers (2-5) in a non-district game. The Tigers coming off four wins in the Rogers Tournament and the Buccaneers four losses in the H-F Tournament. I believe this is the first ever meeting between these two schools. The JV starts at 4:30 and Varsity will start at 7:00.

We threw to many balls, made to many errors, hit into to many double plays, got hot at the plate to late in the game. You can't do that against a good team. We made mistakes and Woodville jumped all over us.
