Both teams a little shakey in there opening games. Would like for Jasper to win but don't think they will, being they are playing at BH. Brooks will have the turnovers down. I say BH 17 to Jasper 13 with Jasper having the ball, with little time left, at the end of the game and driving. We'll see how it comes out.

I noticed a difference also in balla. No matter I still want Kville to win. Carthage is tuff. This mite be a close one, but not Kvilles way. Carthage 23 Kville 21.

Silsbee will have to grow up after there last two scrammages. Turning the ball over showes the youth in the team. There is tons of talent, speed, size, and heart. That is there. Now the muturty needs to show, if it does, all I can say is, Houston Sterling sit back and enjoy the ride cause dem Tigers will take you on one. Silsbee wins. Go Tigers!!!

Congrats Kirbyville

Pulling for BC, by 3 points.

Kirbyville will win the game. They will come out trying to prove they belong with the big boys (WO-S, Silsbee, Jasper) and make some errors in the first quarter, maybe get behind in the game. After that it will be there for the taking as they settle down the rest of the game, there talent will show and that will be the end for Cleveland. Speed and size. Good luck Kirbyville, prove me wrong in the first quarter. 

Silsbee lost to Tarkington in 5 games. I don't know the scores. Silsbee won the first one and lost the next two, then won the fourth game. Lost the fifth. Go Tigers!!!

With some strong pitching and timely hitting (in the last game) ole Cooper now has a winning record. Can they keep it up? Still wish it was ole Phil, just sounds better.

I'm gonna say...........Silsbee wins. At both places, neutral site, back yard, front yard. But every one of them will be good games. Thats just the way Silsbee and EC play the game.

I agree. Play to win the game and worry about the next game later, because if you don't there may not be a next game. I've helped coach a little league softball team to state a couple of times and that was all the coaches motto. You play to win the game and the next game, cross that bridge when it gets here.

Silsbee one more week. I'll be heading to the hunting club. Silsbee will be the first game I see. Go Tigers!!!

Don't know about the freshman game, but the Silsbee JV took care a Tarkington in two games. Go Tigers!!!

I'll tell ya'll this, both teams are going to be good. Now, how you like that? Sure both teams lost key players last year, this year we have some move-ins, move-ups, and re-admits. So until I see them play on a High School court, I'll say both teams are going to need to work there butts off to make it. Within 40-50 miles you have two of some of the best traditional basketball schools in Texas. Now, I did not say the best. In games these two just make each other better. I like this rivalry. You can't make a mistake you can't take a couple of seconds off on a play, if you do it's over. Last year after H-J won state some of there fans came on here and said how the real state championship game was the regional finals. How both teams could have won state. To me, thats character. Now you got some from BOTH sides say we gonna win this or that over you. Hog wash. It's good to cheer for your team, but come on think before you say stuff. Now me, I'm cheer for Silsbee. I just hope after all of this we can still play three great games like last year. Just hope Silsbee hits that last shot to win it this year.

Hope we are spoiled in the win column as well. ;D
