  1. I will agree. After the PN-G game Johnson has been managing the clock better, and the turnovers are down. He know what pressure defenses are in PN-G and Newton, so he has experence there. He also will find out against H-F. He is good, the best I just don't know. Right now I would not trade him for any other. You could say that about your WO-S QB also. Good luck. Go Tigers!!!
  2. Wish this had not gotten started. Way to early for this, a lot of ball playing to be done. Can Silsbee win 21-AAA? Yes. So can all the teams that have only one loss in district. Will Silsbee win district. Will see this Friday night, then the next Friday night, then the next Friday night and so on. See, it don't matter what you do this Friday or next Friday. Beat H-F then beat WO-S that would be fine, but if you don't finish the year beating the last two teams on the schedule, you may not be going to the play-offs. Now, for me, I don't care what WO-S does Friday night, they will be here soon enough. Let's take care of H-F, and I'll be happy.
  3. Man that was funny. Nothing could not get said for a couple of minutes they were rolling on the floor.
  4. Silsbee's Johnson and WO-S's Hypolite had themselves good games last night. Stats maybe down. Maybe it has something to do with only 2 or 3 QB's are back from last year. But still the top five can still reach 1000 yards.
  5. A big congrats to Kountze. Keep up the hard work. Good luck.
  6. This game is where the Silsbee players grow up. Up until now we have been playing teams that are young like us in Orangefield and BC. Now we have a team coming in to the Den that will test our defensive line with there power running game, they will push our o-line with there pressure defense. How will our young men respond? There is a good game brewing in Silsbee on Friday. Go Tigers!!!
  7. Don't overlook any team. To make the playoff it's got to be every week of playing as hard as you can and then some. Good luck to all. Go Tigers!!!
  8. What a game. Silsbee takes it in three games. Been watching volleyball for several years now and this has to be the best game I have seen. BOTH team played hard tonight. Just can not say enough about Silsbee, getting dig after dig after dig, willing there selves to a win. BC came with everything they had and dug down deeper and brought some more. Silsbee just had the answers tonight. Great game plain that was carried out by a focused team. Great crowd for both sides. Things are heating up in 21-AAA volleyball. Go Tigers!!!
  9. As always the championship goes through WO-S. To be the best you have to beat the best. After two district games heres how I see it: WO-S 2-0 - This team just keeps on going and going. After a first district game win against H-F the Wildcats invited them to come play the second district game at there house. The Mustangs were not very nice guest as they ran all over the Wildcats. This young teams next game is with the 1-1 Hawks, don't see any slowing down these stangs any time soon. Silsbee 2-0 - After a shut-out win over Orangefield and a blow out at Bridge City the Tigers this year, so far, are beating the teams they are suppose to and doing it convencingly. For this young team the main thing is to stay focus and not worry about what other teams are doing in the district race. The power running H-F will travel to the Tiger Den in a test for both teams early in the district schedule to see who will step up in the district race. Kirbyville 1-1 - A win over Jasper in the first district game was what the Wildcats expected in there quest for the district crown. An experance team with high expectations got trampled on by WO-S in the second game. Don't worry, this Kirbyville team will bounce back next week as they take on Orangefield. This team is to good to stay down. H-F 1-1 - A surprise? Not to people in 21-AAA. A loss to WO-S in the first district game was a measuring stick to see what they can handle from the district. And in the second district they handle H-J a loss in evening up at 1-1. Sporting a power running game H-F travels to Silsbee to take on the high scoring Tigers. Will H-F slow down the Tiger scoring machine or can the Tiger stall H-F running game? Jasper 1-1 - What a differance a coach makes. After a set back to the Wildcats in the first district game this team knocked off Orangefield in the second district game. Headed into next weeks game against BC things are looking up for Jasper. This young team needs to stay headed in the right direction and thing will be looking up. H-J 1-1 - This team is looking for answers. After a win over BC in the first district game they couldn't keep up in the second district game with H-F. This team needs to find the answers fast as WO-S is in there sights. This team has the players to make some noise but right now some one needs to ask the right questions. Bridge City 0-2 - This young team is fighting hard to get things right. In the first district game a close loss to H-J and then being man handle by Silsbee in the second district game has them shaking there heads. With there new coach, this team will keep on fighting hard as Jasper is in there way for a win this week. Orangefield 0-2 - This is another team fighting hard to get things right. This young team was blanked by Silsbee in the first district game then Jasper did the honers in the second district game. With no quite in this team Kirbyville is next in line for this team looking for there first district win. Don't count out a team playing with hart.
  10. I would like to congratulate these young men from each school. I took the top five and high lighted some interesting facts: Passing: Name Team Comp Att Pct Yds TD INT D. 11. This could have been a trap game for Silsbee, looking ahead we playing BC Friday, but the girls were focus and took the win. Now we can look towards Friday. Go Tigers!!!
  12. OK, here we go. The showdown of the top two teams in 21-AAA. And just to let ya'll know last time was four nail bitting games. Two good teams meeting in BC. Has to be game of the week. But until then, tell me what ya'll think.
  13. Better look again at Tiger Stadium. Been looking at DRH all summer long and NO WAY is it bigger than Tiger Stadium. Tiger Stadium is the Flag Ship of 21-AAA maybe Southeast Texas.
  14. Silsbee Freshman (5-1), JV (4-2), and Varsity (5-1) all won tonight. District games in ( ). Go Tigers!!!
  15. WO-S travels to Silsbee for this 21-AAA game. What do ya'll think.
  16. Silsbee JV in the LC-M JV & Freshman tournament. A third place win for the Tigers. On Thursday Silsbee JV beat Kirbyville 2-0, that was also a district game, the JV is 3-2 in district. Then they got a little even with Bridge City for a earlier loss, beating BC 2-0. Saturday, Silsbee JV tangled with PN-G and lost in two games. Then in winning third place Silsbee JV beat Kelly 2-0. Congrats girls. Go Tigers!!!
  17. I back the Scrubs! I would not want them to move. They are in a central location and everybody can hear them. That is great. I would not care if there were 100 of ya'll cheering as long as it is loud and proud. Now there mite be a time when they mite have to move, but maybe the fans will get use to them and see to it that they stay right there, that something special is happening in Silsbee. Keep it real Scrubs. Go Tigers!!!
  18. I said it once and I'll say it again, I back the Scrubs. Ya'll are down and just to the right of where I set. I love the spirit ya'll bring to the games, don't stop. Ya'll are in the season ticket holders section, so the people may have a few years on them and are not accustom to the loudness and standing up all the time. Man, just like a college game. Like the others have said be nice and if worst comes to worst ya'll may have to move, I hope not, but it may happen. Find a place and get loud there. But what ever ya'll do ya'll just keep on keeping on. Go Scrubs!!! Go Tigers!!!
  19. bseftballdad are you nuts! BC win over Silsbee was anything but easy. I don't think winning by 2 or 3 points a game is easy, volleyball fans call that "man that was a close game". If it wasn't for #2 for BC things would have been different. That girl can bring it.

  21. The question is what do you call them Dr. J? Are you trying to compare H-J predistrict to Silsbee? Lets see Houston Sterling two deep in play-offs, PN-G, well everybody knows them, Newton, what more can you say about them. Now what do you call your predistrict Dr. J?
  22. Well this is the thing, holding on to the ball. Man these young players for Silsbee are fast, really fast. If and I mean if Silsbee holds on to the ball, This game could be high scoring. If Silsbee lets the ball slip through there hands, so will the game. I believe the defense is still working on things, staying on the field all night is not one of them. Lets go D, suck it up. If Silsbee holds on to the ball this could very well end up in the high 30's or low 40's. And then your adding in that Silsbee is traveling TO Newton, so. Go Tigers!!!
  23. Silsbee will travel to H-F Tues. for this district showdown. Tell us what ya'll think.
  24. Good going girls, keep on rocking. Freshman, JV and Varsity are 2-1 in district. Go Tigers!!!
