  1. Girls play good won in three games. 2-1 in district. JV won in two games: 25-16,25-16 2-1 in district. Don't know about the freshman.
  2. Come on guys did ya'll not see the mistakes that where made: Quote"That will come Friday night when the Tigers host Port Neches-Groves in their home opener" Lets see, Silsbee's home opener was last week. Quote"McGallion's Tigers are coming off a 33-32 season-opening victory at Houston Sterling" : Remember Silsbee's home opener Quote"coach Matt Burnett's Indians will enter the game seeking not only their first win but their first score after dropping decisions of 19-0 to Brenham and 7-0 to Crosby." ??? To who? Please tell me I was not the only one to see this. Not only to Silsbee, but really both Mid-County teams. And as always if I'm wrong, just tell me.
  3. OK, lets see, here we go. This is the way I see it from what I have read from the people on this thread. Silsbee has a young offense that can move the ball and score points. Young offense, so hold on to the ball! PN-G has a really, really, really good defense that has kept them in there games. Silsbee has a young defense that is a work in progress, that also found a way to stop Sterling several times when it had to. PN-G has a confusing offense that not even there fans can stand unless it is just run, run run that has not scored any points against two good teams. This is what I see happening. The Silsbee offense, if they can hold on to the ball, will pose the best test yet for that really good PN-G defense. That really good PN-G defense will be a better test for Silsbees young offense than what we had last week. Now, as for PN-G offense, third times the charm. And as for Silsbees work in progress, the coaches will keep working em and find the right formula so light em up boys because the purple herd is coming and there looking for a party!!! Go Tigers!!!
  4. Man that's a bummer for something that nice. Hope ya'll get it up and going.
  5. Simmer-down-now ST4life, a little to much there. Remember, think before you post and just simmer-down-now, then post it.
  6. Man, I hope this did not go out with the paper today. Who ever wrote this needs to check what he/she is writing. Sad, just truly sad.
  7. Silsbee travels to H-J Friday in a 21-AAA district game. Them me what ya'll think.
  8. Now this is PN-G here. Last year after spanking H Sterling we gave the game away, turning the ball over three times inside the 20 yard line. Had the team to win that game but did not. Well, this games in Silsbee this year, hopefully well hold on to the ball. I still like Silsbee. Go Tigers!!!
  9. Also, the Freshman won there game 2-1 they are 1-1 in district. The JV lost there game 25-23 (6-25) 25-23. They are 1-1 in district.
  10. In a very, very, very, very, very good game Silsbee lost :'( in four games to Bridge City. Congrats to BC. I hope I got these scores right. 25-23 (19-25) 25-22 25-23 I hope these are right. Man, that #2 for BC can slap dab bring it. May have been the difference. Go Tigers!!!
  11. Bridge City is coming to Silsbee Tuesday night for this 21-AAA district game. This one is sizing up to be a great game. Tell me what ya'll think.

  13. It was nice to see the scrubs out in numbers, and boy they get into the game. Keep on keeping on. OWWU. And no not all the Spartans died, If you remember at the end how many did they have? And I believe they won. No matter, go scrubs I'll back you all the way.
  14. Silsbee will win and PN-G will get there first points of the season. For both teams that are young and getting experance this should be a good game. A lot of focus will be on our defense. We got some players there but not a lot of playing time. One time in the game Graig had all of is defense line on the bench and giving them a good talking to, I mean a good talking to. After that it seem to fire up the boys, I mean even the water boys ran faster during time outs. Go Tigers!!!
  15. Better have your chin straps on tight for the H Sterling game. There O-line is huge and there backs are fast. Good luck Central. Take it to them.
  16. Offense- Silsbee did pretty good. Running the ball not bad, not bad at all. Not bad play calling ether. Passing was OK, some low ones and timing just a little off. Getting real close there. Fumbled the ball to many times with two turnovers and the yellow hankies, to many of them also. I know we are a young team and I am kind of hard, but I would grade the offense around a B. Defense-Coach said we would be a work in progress and we are working on it. We did come up with some stops that was nice, Sterling with a game under there belt, proved to be a good test. Huge O-line, good running back, real good QB. A real good test for our defense thats for sure. Not one turnover for Sterling, got to make them turn it over. We are young here also and I'm still hard, I say a C+. Next week another good test in PN-G. Go Tigers!!!
