5. For all you Central fans, You have this PNG grad's 100% support in this game and for the rest of the season (but especially this game).  I've been over on the other PNG thread and have seen what FWfan has been saying about my team.  I don't just want Central to beat FW.  I want Central to put it on them soo bad that FW will be ashamed to admit that they even play football.  Central has the talent and speed to make this happen. So from a PNG fan to the Central boys on the field, get out there and whoop dat ______!
 6. TXKBear, I think you might just have the situation all wrong.  Its not whether the huddle gets "broken" with 12 players, but when a sub comes in for one player, the other player must immediately exit the playing field.  Generally, the officials give you 3-5 seconds for the exchange, but Brenham took a lot longer than that to have that 12th player exit the field.  Brenham then called a timeout because they knew they screwed up.  The officials let the timeout stand and not penalize the cubs.  Too bad the rules state that a timeout cannot negate breaking the huddle with 12 players. Of course, I don't think this was one of those so-called "controversial no-calls."  PNG defense shut down Brenham on the very next play and Brenham had to punt I believe.  There were a plethora of other "no-calls" that were blantant.  But I understand that when a receiver runs wide open over the middle and gets tackled by the DB before the ball gets there is a no-call, or why a DB can be pulling on the back of the jersey of the wideout the entire way down the field only to turn the wide receiver before the ball arrives is a no-call.
 7.
Thanks aikfan you see right through my picks ! I hope PNG wins but the reason that I believe that Brenham is a clear favorite is because of the caliber of teams that they have played against vs the teams that we have played against. Montgomery is a very good team as well as Huntsville. I think Huntsville's qb is committed to Oklahoma state. Montgomery's back rushed for over 300 yrds last week and could not move the ball against Brenham. We have won all our games yes but I can think of 3 that could have gone either way... Little Cypress, Barbers Hill 1, and Central. Throw the stats out the window. I watched the Brenham films of Lamar Consolidated, Huntsville, and Montgomery. All very good teams. All the sportswriters in the Houston area are picking Brenham also.
Of course the Houston sportswriters are.  We've been picked against all year.  Nothing new to us NDNs.

The PNG vs Barbers Hill game was a very cleanly called game. I sat on the PNG side and watched the game and I have never heard so much unjustified whining about ball spots, calls, non calls, IN MY LIFE. Almost every down that Barbers Hill had any sucess at all there were boos and cat calls going on all around me. Im used to some of that,, but man it was constant. With all due respect to my neighbors, just because its not going the way you want it to go does not automatically mean that the officials are cheating.
Is this post for real?   I mean, i get your point, kind of.   But do You think the BH fans weren't whining about every call, spot, non call that went against them?  For that matter, I'm betting every side at every game did the same thing.  It's what fans do.    What do you want them to do between plays?  Sit quietly and talk about the fine reffing job the stripes are doing?  Give me a break.                   ::)
lol, yeah its for real, but iIm not overly serious about this or any other post I make. ts just a gig that is actually true because it was worse than normal, even for PNG. I have sat at a lot of playoffs games for a lot of different teams and this one was the worst I have heard of any team. I get what happens when people get excited but it was sortof nuts.... I heard so much complaining about the spots that I actually stopped watching the game and started watching nothing but exactly where the plays were ending just to see if all the whining was for good reason, this ate up almost a whole quarter. What I saw was that almost every spot was as close to perfect as you can expect despite all the whining and it was no different for either team. The bottom line is that although PNG is a good team, they are not a number 3 team in my opinion, at least not so far. Maybe they will get better next week. I want them to win state, but to me they are nowhere near good enough to legitimately be considered a serious threat for a state title. Unless there defense improves and their running game improves, the first time they run into a team that has top notch offensive and defensive lines with a good overall team performance they are going to get a rude awakening. They are not good enough to run over a legit contender from what I see.  Thats not my hope, that's a warning. My hope is that they win the whole thing!
Michael, May I be the first to "thank you" for imparting us with such great knowledge.  Wow, what in the run game needs to improve?  Harmon has gone for over 1800 yards this season with over 200 coming Friday.  I don't know what game you were watching but the PNG o-line blew open some huge holes for Harmon to run through.  The PNG misdirections in the run game with Ross were also executed very well.  As far as our defense goes, BH had 213 yards of total offense.  That is about the season average that the NDNs have surrendered.  Is limiting a team to 213 yards make your defense weak?  Oh, and again I'm not sure what game you were watching, but how many times did BH even cross the 50 in the 2nd half (let alone get into the red-zone)? Sure, improvements are needed, but that goes along with every game.
 10. Its called the "playoffs."  Even though PNG fans are extremely passionate, we become even MORE passionate when the playoffs come around.  Of course we know that not every call will go our way, but that doesn't stop us from thinking that we are always right.  Heck, it happens everywhere.  It even happens we are watching a game at home on tv.  Can anyone on this board honestly say that you haven't yelled at the tv when a call didn't go your teams' way?  Same principle applies at the PNG games.
 11.
There is also Robertson Stadium. I want PNG to win this one. Cuz no matter where PNG-Angleton play. There would be a Sea of Purple. And I can bet there will be 20k plus. I just hope this game happens. Good Luck PNG
I want this game, PNG v. Angleton, to happen as well.  I know that Brenham is a formidable opponent so no looking ahead here.  But Angleton has been hyped all year, and PNG seems to have been on the back-burner for much of the season.  Now, PNG is getting some recognition and if we come away with wins the next 2 weeks, we might get the respect state-wide that us NDNs feel that we deserve.
 12. While watchin, be sure to order a burger and some onion rings!  You won't be disappointed.

Way to go NDN's!
No - PNG is not as good as 11-0 makes you think. District is weak. Central beating Goose Creek 7-0, wow, that tells you the same thing. But we shall find out as the post season progresses!!
So, I guess  Friendswood and Sante Fe were dominant?
FW was yes. Santa Fe no. But I continue to remind you, our fans are not making noise that we could beat Lake Travis as many of your fans are. Just enjoy the ride and stop trying to claim you are the best team in the nation. Folks are getting tired of hearing PNG and your district blather. PS read my posts - have I overstated FW? No. I am pointing out the inconsistencies in the logic of certain blow hard PNG fans! Yes...in their own minds!  You're wasting your time trying to reason with those FW people.  Hang it up.  Just let them babble.

Don't see that on this forum.  Which fans are you referring to?    How many have said PNG is going to beat LT?
No one said that.  There was a thread on here about that started by some PNG haters.  The thread was completely sarcastic.
 14. PNG inquired about the Gilmer coach last year.  Pretty sure he isn't going anywhere.
 15. Hats off to BH.  Ya'll hung in there and gave us everything we could handle in the first half.  I think the steady dose of Harmon wore the BH defense down in the 2nd half.  All in all, great game from both teams.
 16. 20% now!  I just showed the BH qb some love.
 17.
Thanks Ryker. I hope I can over take Englebert in the playoffs.
Hey, I'm right on both of ya'lls tails.  Better not over look me!

I just want you to be big enough to come on and eat Crow after we beat the TOP team in your district!  I just wish it would be yall instead of Angleton...but again...yall are not Angleton!!  Your district has yet to play a team like PNG...ONLY TIME WILL TELL!! And i cant wait...!!  Funny how your hopes fall on a team that smoked you in district!! Friendswood is only as good as second or third in their own district...??
Your intelligence overwhelms me! Yes we are the 2nd best team in our district. Yes we want our 24-4a reps in D2 to win! Real hard concepts there, you got all that PNG fan? Do I need to go slower?
Nah, I'm pretty sure he can read at his own pace.  That kind of line is only good when you are verbalizing your smack.  Try a better line next time!
 19. Congrats Newton.  Looks like last week put a bitter taste in your mouth.  Way to take care of business.
 20.
Dayton, Crosby, and GCM fans....come join Bh and root for us to beat PNG.  Dayton fans, please wear your white away shirts and not purple, ..... ;)
MODERATOR,  I believe someone deserves a warning for their post.  I don't care if it was in jest or not.  This post could be construed as just attacking the Indian fans as a whole, but it could easily be construed as attacking our mascot (which would be the exact same as a personal attack on a player or coach).  There is no need to interject terms like this (even if you put a winking smiley face afterwards)
