This NDN fan was at the game pulling for my rival. I witnessed a gutsy performance by the Dogs. Congrats on the big win but the game is now over. Time to focus on the task at hand. Good luck in the next round.

Great game. Henderson was predicted to be out of the playoffs by the third round but just kept on winning.  Congrats to them on their first ever state title.

[/quote] Seeing as you are a bulldog fan and talking about how a lineman played at the PNG/Ned game, you might have had on a few blinders as well.  It is easy to have on blinders when you are watching your own team. Anyways, we are proud of the way our team played this year, coming back from such an adverse beginning to the season.  Looking forward to 2011.

[/quote] PNG flat out, outplayed Willis.  Willis held the lead for most of the first half on 2 fluke plays:  the batted ball that fell right into a receivers hands for a long TD, and the forward latter that led to a score.  Without these 2 plays, PNG wins handily.  PNG had to execute every play to perfection and they did.  The offense looked like a machine.  PNG's game starts with the Offensive line and those guys were flawless.  What some people fail to realize is that coaching creates better athletes and this is what PNG has done the past 2 years.  We might not have the fastest players at the skilled positions, but the execution was flawless Saturday night from the skilled positions.  And with Bertrand running behind the O-line, nothing but a thing of beauty.

Just a heads up to the BH fans.  If you get to the stadium early, you can get one of the good seats on the home side upper level.  I believe these are fold down seats.  Tons better than the aluminum you typically sit on.  But there is only one section so you gotta get there early!

There is something to be said for "quiet confidence."  Something that is very lacking on this thread.

Look, Brenham is 9-0, and they have gotten there by beating their opponents pretty handily.  They don't let other teams hang around.  They get out in front and keep their foot on the gas until the 48 minutes are up.  Last year, this team could have been beaten in the playoffs, but found ways to win.  This year, this team is going to be a lot tougher to beat in the playoffs. My prediction:  Brenham will be 10-0 after Thursday night.

[/quote] Well I guys its good we really dont care if the folks in PNG think a game sold out or not.  Thats what I thought I had tried to answer when i said the tichets were sold out at the schools.  Speaking of beating a dead horse, hows that 10-0 season going anyway?  [/quote] To my fellow Indian fans...Seriously?  Vidor sold out their side of the stadium.  Did you see the people lined around the fence?  Did you see the people standing on the baseball field watching?  Just because the ticket window is open doesn't mean the game wasn't sold out.  Look, the game was likely sold out early on, but Vidor homecoming isn't a game, its an experience.  I'm sure Vidor kept selling tickets to ensure that everyone who wanted to see homecoming got to see it, even if they had to stand up for 3 hours.
