  1. BH turns ball over on downs. NDNs have ball in BH territory.
  2. Weird that they called a delay of game on PNG while PNG was on defense. Definitely not something you see often at all.
  3. So everyone that says PNG is a “one man show” with RJ are also racist? Please go call each and everyone of them about as well. Otherwise, you are a race baiter.
  4. No sign of RJ. #17 warming up and when I say #17, I’m not referring to Dustin Long.
  5. Hahaha, Shug only went for 10 TDs in that game. Guess he had trouble getting the ball down field in that one as well. *cough cough*
  6. Agreed. That was some ugly QB play down the stretch.
  7. Most definitely a fumble. The breaks of HS football.
  8. True. But I believe the refs missed the spot of the ball. HP recovered ball right at the 50. Feet came down around 48. Refs placed ball down at the 45. Ball is a dead ball upon recovery. It cannot be advanced forward on an onside kick. But at the end of the day, Manvel didn’t appear to even try and make a play on the ball there.
  9. 100% agreed on that! Refs could have called PI on that last play, but they let the kids play. That 2nd half by HP was incredible.
  10. In 2010, Henderson played Tyler Chapel Hill in the state finals. The schools are literally 30 miles apart. Now the schools are in the same dang district.
  11. I was watching the game on texanlive.com when it happened (wife is a Henderson graduate). Henderson intercepted the pass and took it down the Henderson sideline. DB for Henderson was tackled by Carthage all-world RB. It was hard to make out what exactly happened on the sideline and the cameras cut away pretty quickly. I have several contacts at the game (on the Henderson side mind you so it might be a slanted take on what happened), but those contacts were saying that Carthage running back took exception to Henderson celebrating, some pushing and shoving on the sideline, and then Carthage RB threw punches. The swings brought both benches to the party but all that happened was unsportsmanlike on both teams (cheap way out by the officials but if they didn't see the swings, then they didn't see the swings). If Carthage RB is ejected, its a completely different ball game, but I think Carthage still would have had too much for Henderson to keep up. NOTE: it was 7-0 Carthage when this happened and Henderson never scored. Also, if punches were thrown and no ejections, UIL might be taking a look at the video in a lil more detail.
  12. You are missing the point entirely. Public to public transfer vs public to private transfer. Martin, Rummel, Curtis, Holy Cross, etc., makes transferring in greater NO a whole lot easier than transferring in Texas. The private programs in Texas can’t hold a candle to the public programs in Texas. Thus, if RJ wanted to transfer in Texas, he’d likely have to move at least 2 hours away. Not likely gonna get approval to transfer to a different local program.
  13. Transferring in Texas isn’t as simple as transferring in Louisiana. It’s not an apples to apples comparison. Louisiana public school system is complete garbage, especially in the greater NO area. This is no secret. That’s why your private John Curtis High can go out and “pick from the litter”, offer a scholarship, and basically buy a state title. Doesn’t work like that in Texas. My dad went to Rumnmel, I’m well aware of how things work in that area.
