[/quote] The main reason that Hopkins carries the load (41% of the off) is Nederland likes to grind it out when they have the lead, and when it comes to passing we spread the ball around, it's not flashy but it works.

I thought 99.9 carried both Dayton and Liberty, turn balance left to recieve one and right to recieve the other, don't know if it is still that way, put the balance in the middle and you get both games at once.

Yes, region 3 D1 is loaded this year. Don't know much about 17-4a but Brenham looks as good as anyone in d2, it would be nice to make a good run with a young team.

It would be a shame to get this thread locked after 40 pages.....

I can't believe we haven't secured a playoff site yet.

I think for 19-4a vs 20-4a 1st round you gotta play at the Butch, Lamar, or Baytown area, for LCM vs Crosby the Butch would be as nuetral as you can get and plenty big enough, I'd like to see the D1 schools play at Lamar Friday and Saturday nights. Ozen and BH might as well flip for home field.

Not that it matters, but I still think the stjfl should have left things like they were, larger districts wind up with more teams so the tallent is split, just seems watered down with 6-8(w/flag) super bowl champions in 3 age groups, play the teams in your age gpoup and have one Champion, the old system was fine for a league this size, or take one season and do playoffs big school - small school and then play big against small for the title and see how many big schools win vs how many small schools win and I'll bet it's pretty even.

These 2 teams are very much a like on defense, offense, special teams and individual personel, loaded at every position, I hope this group can find more success than they did in 2000, like I said 2000 was capable of winning state, just needed to catch a break, this bunch of bulldogs is very much capable of winning a state title as well, let's hope it's a long playoff run that ends in Dallas.

Coach Neumann could call both SC and Dayton and get a venue secured if they both agreed to a neutral site for who ever we play. I think this has been done before by Coach Neumann and it is a good idea with so many teams playing 1st round games these days, so we may have a site before we know who we play.
