How poetic justice Friday night will be. Monty was there playing on the field when the PNG win streak was broken, and he will be there this Friday night as the head coach to bring home his first of many Bum Phillip trophies.

I think Nederland can score, and score, and score, just not sure how many times they can stop the score, stop the score, stop the score. This has a chance to be a great one, or, PNG obviously has a IT player on their team which usually makes the difference in these games. Nederland has some IT players too, #22 comes to mind. I see our defense stepping up big in this one. Spell has a great game!!!

For some reason people like to believe that MID-County has their special refs for home games. I crack up every time I read it. Lack of not knowing how the ref pickings are done and now that the Beaumont chapter doesn't exist, you never know where your official are coming from. I have cousin who is from Spring and their chapter has a few games down here.

Same here brother but many friends didn't fare so well, a reality check for sure. One thing that can bring some normalcy though is some high school football! Can I get an amen?
