My son has had lots of interest from several 14u teams. However, I would like to keep him in this age group.  IMO this is the team for him.  He could make this team better than it already is.  Pitches at 62mph, with a nasty split finger, and drop ball (with great control, he's been throwin them since he was 9).  He didn't hit any home runs this year, but he was focusing on hitting line drives in the gaps. I know he has power, cause he drops bombs when we go to the field and hit. He is sound defensively at 1st base.  He has been doing the Tom Emanski videos since he was 6, and they are really starting to pay off.  Great all around player, and from what I have seen, prob a top 5 player in the area for his age.

I got your email.  I am currently in no need for a first baseman.  Thanks for your interest in my team.
2. The 13u Premier Gladiators are looking to add 2 players.  This team went 53-16 last year, playing 15 tournaments while finishing in the top three 11 times, and walking away with the Championship 6 times, including a State Championship, and winning Cooperstown. This team will require travel, as most premier tournaments are in Houston.  We are not in need of a first, or third baseman.  Team is coached by Jeff Moye.  If you would like an opportunity at trying out for this team, you can pm me on here, or email me at [email protected]
3. I wanna give a big shout out to my boys, for winning the Cooperstown tournament.
Greyson Kash - Hardin Jefferson
Logan McLeod - Hardin Jefferson
Bryce Townsend - Lumberton
Jace Bridges - Lumberton
Spencer Uribe - Silsbee
Jacob Collins - Silsbee
Conner Kemp - Nederland
Cole McConnell - Beaumont
Will Swope - Beaumont
Drew Burns - Beaumont
Gunner Capps - Carthage

These boys went 10-1 during the week, outscoring their opponents 165-56. Congrats on a great week, and on the season boys.

Who does the tigers have coming back for next year and do they have a chance to get back to Austin.
Silsbee has all 3 of their starting pitching coming back (Powell, Hartman and Griffin). Tigers will return their starting 2nd baseman (Gore) 1st base (Griffin) catcher (Leblanc) and right fielder (Nesbit). Also Kris Elers will return who started a few games.

Of the returnees, Silsbee will have the district MVP (Gore) Pitcher of Year (Powell) 1st team first baseman(Griffin) 2nd team catcher (Leblanc) 2nd team DH (Hartman)

Tigers lose starters Garcia (SS), Thibideaux (3B), Valencia (LF), Shellhammer (CF).

I see Hartman playing 3rd when not pitching, Gore moving to SS with Armstrong playing 2B. Nesbit and Elers will play two of the outfield positions. That really just leaves filling one outfield spot and 3B when Hartman pitches (possibly Powell could play that position). Kirkendoll (JV player) probably gets one of those starting positions.

Silsbee will make another deep run in playoffs.

Keep it up Nederland!!!
really . More like nice win blue . Guy behind the plate should get the game ball for the bulldogs . If I had a kid out there being robbed like that I would have been on the field . It was so obvious . I would be ashamed to have anything to do with that . Anybody says anything different , then obviously that's what you are use to . No wonder you think y'all are so good and have such great pitching . Hahahagsfdsdddyfad . All I can do is spit because of the taste in my mouth . Bulldogs my *** . More like the blue dogs .

I would have to say because the Nederland pitchers don't have to throw it over the plate to get a strike . I think we have all seen a little home cooking , but this has been a joke . This dude should be arrested . The broncos have to throw it through a key whole to get a strike . The dogs throw it 60 ft they get the call . This is really sad actually .
Oh god!  Throw a strike and quit whinning.

Nederland has only hit 2 home runs playing on this short field . Wow . I think I'm going to see them put a tee on the plate any moment . The park isn't much bigger than what the little girls play on in Dayton .
come on man 358 to to the power alley 370 to dead center . That is almost humurous . Even in a south wind the ball should fly out if here . Your drunk if you think otherwise .
I'm working on that, not quite there yet.  I've see 1 homerun to dead center in that park in the last 20 years.  I may have missed one somewhere in there.  Chad Landry hit a missle off of a Beau Hale 94 mph fastball over the centerfield wall that almost knocked Beau off of the mound.  The history of Nederland's park speaks for itself.
Chad Landry hit a homerun?  It must've been a hurricane that day!!

You are a sad person Bedelmon. You might want to take advantage of Sunday and pray for forgiveness. If you are a role model I feel sorry for your kids!

Wow!!  I guess you just showed the kind of person you are, by that comment.  That's a pretty low statement to make about someone that you know nothing about. I wonder what you would say to someone if they made that comment to you, or another (better than everyone else) Nederland fan. Pretty classless move!!

Never said you were an idiot. What I am saying is That is the way schools get around the 11.2 scholarships you got what you wanted from Lamar which would have been play college baseball and get an education for free. Lamar got what they wanted too a 90 plus arm and only had to pay for your school. Which is say 50 or 75 percent. Which in return some other kid probably got 75 percent instead of 25 percent. This happens all the time in Louisiana because the state pays for kids in a certain percentage to go to school so the more kids like that they can get the bigger scholarships they can give out of state kids.
If books, fees, and tuition is 50%, then that's some expensive room and board.
Well my freshmen year at McNeese my out of state fee was waived and my room and board was double my tuition and at Tarleton they were about the same.
Dang I didn't realize room and board was so much.

So Rounder you must have played with Kade then at Seminole in 99 correct? Juco player of the year btw that year.

As for Ford, he is a great player and I look for big things for him in the future. Interesting today that another 2015 SS also committed to Rice, Tristan Gray for Elkins. His brother played at Rice in 99-00 so appears the Owls are tapping the bloodlines which seems to hold some quality talent.
Yes I played with that goofball.  He was a very good ballplayer.  He hit 38 homeruns that year, and as a team we hit 187.  Every starter on that team either played d1 or pro ball after there, and 5 of the pitchers played pro ball.  I believe we finished 56-6 that year, with two of those losses at the world series.  How do you know Kade?
