Blackberry not workin right tonite, thanks Buddy.  Good win over a solid team at their house.  Still not a 100% with some nagging injuries, but everyone stepped up, played hard n gotter done.  BH now 15-3.  Could be a possible preview to a 3rd round game.  Nice to see some Dayton players and coach make the trip over to Richmond to support us  ;) ;D

Dang right...BH has played 15 of 16 games at higher classification.  What doesnt kill you makes you stronger, right?  ;D

Updated at top of thread.  See what happens to teams like HJ and BH when they play "up" in schedule to get better.  They drop in rankings...but its all good!  Its where you rank in March that counts ha.

There was another thread that detailed the game, dim, (thanks to AggiesWeAre)...nobody is dissing the team.  That coach acts like a buffoon constantly and it gives an outstanding team a bad rap...even in fall ball. He needs to get control of himself.  Try to get some more fans to post for Ozen...they deserve it.

No its not a girls bb thing, it's an Ozen asst coach thing...nothing new if you have followed them before. 

Good job, Ozen...that is great win.

BH goes 2-3 against some big time competition, including a 7 pt loss to Klein Collins who made it to the finals of the this tourney.  We took some losses against great 5A competition but it [u]should[/u] make us better...BH is now 13-3 on the season.

Lost a key player for the day early in the first game today, Mak May, to a elbow to the face.  Reports are that are that isn't as bad as we thought...get well quick, Mak!  Good effort overall for the Lady Eagles...lets go smoke 'em district now!

BH downned by Seven Lakes 50-43. Closer than final but had to start fouling. Play again at 4:30 at Taylor HS.

I'm tellin ya, J, they don't want any part of CS.  Good luck staying within 30!  Ozen will match up a little better with speed, but CS is just very deep too.

I can relate to the cold shooting...it was painful to watch yesterday.  I will PM you my info.  Enjoy the out-law Christmas  ;D

BH takes their first loss of the season to Klien Collins 49-40.  Shooting was cold as ice, but great effort against a very good team.  BH now 13-1 and moves into the 5/6th place bracket with first game tomorrow at Noon, Taylor HS.  Thanks to the many fans supporting the girls all the way out in Katy!

Thanks Buddy...a bit of an upset but Collins looked tough yesterday when I saw them.

Barbers Hill knocks off 5A #20 Katy Taylor 49-40 in their home gym!  BH now 13-0 and will likely face 5A #16 Mansfield Timberview at 6:00 PM (back at Taylor HS).  Good win for the Lady Eagles after a lackluster shooting performance last night.

BH wins in very ugly fashion over Jersey Village 47-37. Great effort but shot less than 25% from field.  Back at Katy Taylor to face Taylor at 9 am tomorrow.

BH has Jersey Village Thursday at 6:30 and should win.  Then 5A #20 Katy Taylor at 9 am Friday.  This tournament has a LOT of ranked teams, so we will see what we got!

and yes, everyone is feeling better...almost!  Still have a starter (Joines) out due to the collision but she will be back on Thursday!

BH 11-0 and faces Jersey Village Thurs at 6:30 in the Katy Nike.  If we win (we should), we get 5A #20 Katy Taylor Friday morning at 9....and it just gets tougher after that.

Well, not exactly.  TABC ENCOURAGES coaches to put their stats in MaxPreps, but only asks them to email their records (and any other information on themselves or other schools they wish to provide) on Sunday or very early Monday of each week. 

Ozen doesnt put ANY stats in (much less record) into MaxPreps and they are ranked #1  ;D

Record was reported as 2-0?  Wonder if coach did not email in record.  Thats a good way to get dropped in the rankings.
