1. Outstanding, Ladies...keep it up and BELIEVE! Shannon's very busy with her team trying to win their conference right now but wanted to pass along that she is following the news and wishes big luck Tuesday.  go get 'em!
 2. Thanks, T....both are doing great.  Shaw (Vanderbilit, 11-3, 1-0 SEC) is getting about 9 min/game, with 3.5 pts and 2.5 rebounds/game.  Evans (Faulkner, 14-3, 4-1 SSAC) has 6 starts, 19 min/game, 4.5 pts, 2.6 assts, 2 steals and 2.5 rebounds per game.  Its early in conference play but she leads all conference freshmen in assists, steals and assist to turnover ratio.  Faulkner is ranked #24 in NAIA Div 1, but should move up this week after beating #9 Xavier N.O. and undefeated Southern Poly. Main thing is they are both LOVING their schools, teammates and having a blast.  Thank goodness for internet video livesteaming.  Kids can now play a long way away and their parents can still live vicariously thru them just like HS, LOL.
 3. Not much different than Middle School days is it?  NC just has zero youth programs to feed into school ball. Way to Eagles...keep taking care of business!
 4.
How is she doing? I bet great. I really miss getting to see her and Kendall play. It was fun to game plan against them. Please tell her Hello and I wish her GREAT success. oh and it is OK to smile at me now... ;D
:) :) :)  Thanks Coach, I will and she is doing GREAT.  Loves her team and the school.  They are 12-2 and ranked 21 in Div 1 NAIA.  She is getting about 20 min per game and leads all freshman the Southern States  Conference in steals, assists and assists/turnover ratio.  Kendall is getting quality minutes at Vandy as well.  Look forward to seeing her play at A&M early next year.

 7.
Ozen advanced yestrday Sam Rayburn didn't show up. Orangefield will play tomorrow at 8am
SMH...for the life of me, I cannot understand how that happens.  Seemed like every year we were involved in a tourney where some team didnt show due to "miscommunication".
 8. That was just one helluva HS football game and I was honored to get to see it.  Two outstanding defenses showed up. Really impressed that BH didnt lay down after Denny hurt early. Two plays were the story of the game.  Dayton still sucks, but not as much after tonight!!  ;) Good luck to the Broncos and great job finding a way to win.  Lets go represent in the playoffs now!
 9. ] good luck!
THAT is the key...or get a couple of superstar move-ins.  You can have all the great athletes you want, but that doesnt mean much if they have not honed their BB skills for several years.  Not having a strong youth program puts you way behind and that just perpetuates itself.
Not going to happen...Vidor takes 3rd or 4th behind Ozen and Central for sure.
No way.
Way!,ha...Ozen 30 something and 1 team returning seriously ticked off over playoff loss and Central returning strong core including one of the best guards in the state.  Vidor has the spunk but not the horsepower to overcome those two.  Liv will be a force too to reckon with.
who does ozen have coming back?
Quite a bit, but one that matters most...UT commit, Nekia Jones.
Hey, us old basketball Dad's can get excited about VB too :) Way to go OF!!!...and glad to see that Granger kid back out there!!!
 15.
How come bh stats are rarely in the paper. I was wondering if humble had more than 2 first downs. Cause if so dayton might be in trouble.
Humble had 5 first downs...two on penalties.
 16. Gotta love a great comeback from injury story!
 17.

O'Neal doesn't play well in the rain (fumbles!). He wears gloves bc of skin condition on his hands, and the gloves get too wet. He takes the gloves off and he has to contend with the naked hands. The boy is gonna have to learn to play with the hands God gave him. He better step it up!
That's bad for him.... But your (UNFORTUNETLY) gonna hear alot of uncalled comments from BH...   and on another note... can BH get another announcer to do the play by plays?  who wants to play how many times he says alright  ???
I appreciate the BH announcer doing what he does, but get Thames, the kicker's name right, its pronounced "TIMS" Way to go Eagles!!!!!!!!
Well, as you can see from your "Barbers Hill 2011 district champs" note there hasn't been much for y'all to cheer about since you became 4a. Definitely not any playoff wins. You won't have anything to cheer about Friday night either, unless some of the band parents show up. I see you say the Mound is Dayton's daddy, but y'all are Crosby's stepchild. We love playing the eagles, y'all are the antithesis of slow, basic, overachievers. I don't think y'all took us lightly last year. I think once we ran three plays, had 14 points and got you in a hole y'all couldn't run that pee-wee offense. Threw one right over the top and then Walter went 75 on a swing pass next possession. Nederland ran it but they killed us with the pass plays. Y'all have the same qb as last year and I've seen him throw, it's nothing to be excited about. Neither are his passing numbers this year. Trying to Vidor us to death is y'alls only hope and I think Riordan is ready. Y'all know what the twins bring to the table, but you will be thoroughly impressed with the defense and receivers. In Crosby, district opener, hated rivals, Riordan might run it up, 42-21 Coogs. Too much everything for y'all.
Now THAT is bulletin board material..thanks!! BH 34 CHS 21
 19.
Just checked the state scoreboard and Nuevo Leon beat Kileen Shoemaker 13-12 tonight ;D
Wow...that helps understand what we got a bit more.  BH is executing very well  offensively and defense looks great.  Very tough against the run....Gonna be tested more with an opponent with strong O-line and passing game.
