It was 2-2 count and it was a swing, damn near full swing, which should have been the third out in the inning with the throw down to first.  Umpire in the field should have seen it, even from his location, it was so obvious.  However, the supposed SEC umpire behind the plate, didn't advance the count to 3-2, so the next 2 balls made this at bat a 5 ball walk.
Jack threw a hell of a game.  No doubt about that.

Two of the best teams in 4A in the state getting after it. I wouldn't have expected anything less than the final score. JD throws a 1 hitter and the game still came down to 2 outs in the bottom of the 7th. WOS, BC, Orangefield and Silsbee are all threats for the 4A crown. Hell, even throw in LCM, they made a run last year after a "not so stellar" district record.  Crazy thing is we are all in the same district! It would be hard pressed to find a tougher district in the whole state. Anyways, great game BC and congrats to my Mustangs!!! Also, who was the broadcaster in KOGT? I liked him......even though he was a little biased toward BC. Lol.

And also the 2015 baseball state championship. We might bicker and trash talk during the season but we're all SETX'ns. Silsbee just brought us ANOTHER State Championship to our little corner of Texas. Yeah, it might be  the Tigers first SC, but hopefully won't be the last. And also the 2015 baseball state championship. We might bicker and trash talk during the season but we're all SETX'ns. Silsbee just brought us ANOTHER State Championship to our little corner of Texas. Yeah, it might be  the Tigers first SC, but hopefully won't be the last. I completely agree, our district is loaded with baseball talent. One of us has to make a run. How about this.....no matter our district order going into the playoffs, one of us needs to bring another SC trophy back here to our little corner of the state. They want to talk trash on us but if I remeber correctly, we now have a football and basketball State Championship. Let's go for baseball and track. We have the athletes.......we just need the desire......

Interested to see if WOS moves up. Not sure if BC drops much if at all. Anyone that knows baseball, knows 24-4A is a tough district.

Jarron Morris had a chance to be the next great DB coming from WOS. 

The 2016 WOS Mustangs get my vote for most dominant start to finish. May have been others with more high profile players, but not sure anyone dominated week in and week out like this group for sixteen games.
