I hope this is the way it happens. I really do. If Kirbyville or EC loses to Buna then that will take all the glitz and glamour off the Kirbyville/EC game at the end of season. Lol..

You know what's sad? There are 3 teams in our district that would take 1st place in a LOT of other districts. But the fact is........one of them has to be 3rd. Wow. That alone tells you how tough this district is. The #1 that comes out of it will have earned it for sure.

If the Kats make it to there, I'm going. LOL I might have to wear green and gold but I'm going. Wait, If Kats make it there that means they won our region and EC not playing. Now I'm soar. LOL

Broski we have been feeling the SHANKING, PECK, BITE, BITE AGAIN AND FINALLY LAST WEEK WALKED THE PLANK! so a sting don't sound that bad!

Ok. I'll ease up. I really will. I know how good Kirbyville is but I see based on me being Mr. Popular all of a sudden, that I guess I've tried shoving them down everyone's throat and that's not fun. It's not what we're here to do. I know what will happen by season's end but I guess how good we are needs to be seen and not read. So, let's talk football. I stand by my picks of 1) Kirbyville, 2) EC, 3) Buna and 4) Kountze for this district. That's what this thread was started for and I apologize for my part of getting it off track. Good luck to Buna and EC on their hunt for 2nd place. :-)

Congratulations Wildcatbacker, you've single handedly got everyone in the district pulling for Buna and EC

The most interesting battle of the 1st round in 3A DI may be the 3rd place team out of D12 playing the 2nd place team out of D11.  That should be either EC/Kvill/Buna Vs. Teague/Malakoff.  
 
I have personally seen Teague this year and they have an explosive dual-threat offense.  Defensively, I'm not sold yet.  Some people have Malakoff as the #1 team in the state right now.  I don't believe there is a considerable difference between the three in D12 right now, so that game should be telling.  It appears that all 3 teams in that district have had solid defensive performances.  

I just wanted to give some props on Kountze.  Grayland Arnold is a great running back and Justin Harper can catch the football. Arnold played three different positions which I think is smart football. Coaches did a good job trying to create a miss match with Arnold. The halfback pass with Arnold was a great call. Over all a great game by Kountze and if they stay healthy watch out because they can play ball. Good luck Kountze. I enjoyed watching a good clean game of great football.

This is going to be one of the best games of the season! Both teams have VERY talented athletes and WONDERFUL head coaches. This game is going to come down to which players have the best mindset. I assure you our Cats are not coming into this game lightly (as I KNOW DuBois' Hawks are not either).

And at the end of the game - the boys and coaches will meet at the 50 yrd line to pray together, be encouraged together and be praised for ALL of their hard work - together!

What kind of statement is this? You talk about how it perturbed you and then you do the very same thing that perturbs you. LOL You have absolutely no way of knowing who will win out of the three teams and yet you make predictions. You better start cooking that CROW up like you want so it will be ready for you. How about that, did it perturb you. LOL :D

Thanks for all of the prayers, guys,  The lord called Uncle Gifford home this morning around 6:00 am.  Continued prayers for my family would be appreciated.
