No matter where you are. If you build a program up,even if it is started out by recruiting, and your winning every year, you wont have to recruit anymore because kids are going to want to join a winning program. If a kid move in and wants to go where the best basketball is played most likely they will direct them to Yates, because they are known for winning and gaining exposure.

Yates has the proclaimed best basketball program in Houston and producing all americans. Coming out of middle school where you think I would want to go if it was made possible.

I know I would. Check out Thon Maker, a kid from the Sudan who is 7'0 AT 14 years old who moved to New Orleans. HJ gets kids from Beaumonr all the time, but  since it doesnt hurt any of the Beaumont schools programs nothing is ever said

Most of the Kids Sophmores and Freshman. Bring this conersation up in 2 years. These boys has had a outsatnding season so far.

How did Lee get put in this convo and David Green has to be somewhere in there.

On every team i have played on since High School and College has had one or two players, mostly Seniors or the captains, that didnt let certain things get back to coach because they handled it. whether it came to fights, or yelling match, if the player that was doing something wrong have any respect for himself or the team or for his friends even, then he wouldnt do anything to hurt them. On my high school team we had many of fights behind teammates doing the wrong thing and that led to us being closer and making it to Austin. Its really not up to the players to step in but if a true captain would step in and try to stop the situation.

I'm just lost for words. :-\

preach!!!! preach and preach some more!!!!!! right now I'm so hurt I dont know what to do with myself. Its to much all about self and having the wrong company when you are away from your teammates that can also put you and your team in a bad situation. I know exactly what you talking about.
