LC-M ISD determines the punishment for their students/athletes. That is their decision.
The DEC will be meeting soon and could hand down larger punishments for the players involved.
okay thanks. That's what I was asking basically. He was super wrong for the punch. I wanted to know was it something that led to the incident by devon

now i hear the kid that threw the first punch only got a 1 game suspension. How true is this?

What are you suggesting might have happened earlier in the game that would justify the sucker punch? There's been no talk that I've seen that even remotely suggests that the kid deserved it. Is that the question you're asking?
I'm asking, was it something that led up to what we saw in that 9 seconds? I'm not saying he was right for what he did, but was the game being played dirty, was it situation in the game between him and that kid? I'm just asking questions

I agree but 5 games and community service would be good as well. I don't think the season was fair.
I agree. You can't let 9 seconds of a video determine a whole season. What led up to that punch?

The question is about the punishment being to harsh. Being at the game is not relevant to that question. The video says a whole lot.
So you're saying in that 9 seconds of the video that's only shows him hitting the kid is enough. So what happened in that first and second quarter to lead up to him hitting the kid? Is that not legit question to ask?

How many of you guys were at that game?

Here in Louisiana at Westlake High School we are looking to schedule a team from the Southeast Texas area and wanted to know who will have a opening on December 19, 2017. We will be a pretty good team next year so we want to play someone who we can compete with. We are a 3a school (600 kids max) so we are looking to play someone in our range. If anyone can help me please message me.

I was there last night. It was goal tending. Didn't look like he even put it high enough to go in, but the ball did hit the backboard first. Still a tough call to make.

Their PG #3 Dialo Small is a player. Consistently got to the middle of the paint and hit a slasher. One of the better PGs I've seen this year.
And their "big" man #5 Edwards had his way with Kelly. Giving up about 4 inches to Kelly's Big and played about 4 inches taller.
#5 Edwards is a track and field commit to Alabama. He has a 7'0 high jump and the longest triple jump in the country.
