No need for arguing here. Silsbee not just the best team in the district they are the best in the area. 

Hard to give something that has no chance of being yours.

Silsbee will win the district for at least the next 4 years.  Who knows after that.  Silsbee is a clear favorite!

Ok.  Call it what you want.  I had two simple points.  Silsbee has clearly been the better team over the last few years.  Also, Silsbee continues to lose games in the playoffs they should win.  That is it.

They folded in the regional final last year.  Surely you can admit that.

Exactly what I was referring to.  Silsbee has had the talent to have at least 2 state championships since becoming 3A.  2 is under shooting it in my mind.  It seems they can't play big games besides the ones against HJ.  I truly hope they over come that. 

The reason there is not much talk on this board about Silsbee vs HJ is because most of the HJ fans were run off the board.

Silsbee has definitely had the upper hand recently but they still continue to fold when it matters.  Hopefully for them it is different this year.

Mr. Dove.  You really make me laugh.  I do not post on here much but I do read.  You constantly try to stir HJ people up and I must admit you do quite a good job but this one confuses me a bit.  You are trying to irritate HJ people by telling them they will not be able to go to Austin for the next couple of years because a of a Yates team that has kept YOUR Ozen Lions(in all actuality it was not even Yates who has kept Ozen from the state tournament.....it was a team that HJ beat) from going to the state tournament for how many years now? Is that an Oxy moron??? HJ fans surely know they cannot beat Yates but you have to come on here and remind them.  Why not remind Silsbee?  Why not remind the future state champion HF Longhorns?  You remind HJ because you want to be a part of something like that.  Heck I wish I could have.  Ozen has ZERO chance to make it to Austin next year.....you and I both know that.  Instead of trying to beat down other teams you should try and support yours.  These are kids after all!

Silsbees path is much easier now.  HJ had the easier area round game and Silsbee had the tougher one.

First quarter costs Jacksonville????? Not shocked to see you pointing out something that is not positive about HJ.  HJ made no 3 pointers and beat a really good 4A basketball team.  HJ deserves credit here.
