Ive had an idea... My father in law was telling me yesterday, that as he was on his way home from Alto he was trying to find a scoreboard show on the radio, and there was not one. He suggested that we do one... Of course Todd and I already have the OT, but that only covers Southeast Texas. Around Sept. 15, 102.7 KTXJ (the station we put Newton and Kirbyville on) is doubling their wattage from 25,000 watts to 50,000 watts. This will push their listening area to probably past Winnie, north to maybe Rusk, and possibly west past Livingston and maybe to Cleveland... So I am considering making an offer to the station to have a scoreboard show on there which would be for both SETXsports and EastexSports....

can anyone else view them?

Alright folks, were going to give another run at our videocast. Everything that could have went wrong last night, just about went wrong. The rain really threw a kink into things. This whole deal is still a work in progress. However, we should be able to get all the kinks worked out and bring you a nice 3 camera production tonight. Depending on the internet connection at Lamar, it is possible I'll have to use my verizon card again, which disconnects on me every 27 minutes. When this happens, the broadcast will be down for less than thirty seconds. I'll watch it and try to make sure these disconnections happen during commercials, so the game will be back up when the actions starts. Thanks for sticking with us last night! No one is upset about beating anyone to the punch people. We've had staff members that have known about this for a long time, however we would not break a story out of respect for Coach Stone without knowing 100% that he is okay with us doing it. There in lies the problem. Coaches can make or break you, and we want to always do everything we can to keep the coaches happy with us..Breaking a news story is not that important, you're still posting about and discussing, right? That's all we care about.
