6A D1 Region III Deer Park at North Shore Friday, November 13 7pm Galena Park ISD Stadium, Houston

Its clear what yall say, it doesn't take much discernment to know why yall say it , comments devoid of reason or logic is a reflection on the commenter. To say 15 yard penalties get you beat against good teams is to infer that no one ever loses to good teams, unless they incur 15 yard penalties, and it infers that the good team that beats you doesn't have 15 yard penalties of their own, or that someone, somewhere gives a damm , or that championship teams trophies also included how many penalties you had in the process of winning your championship 🤔 do you know how illogical and nonsensical that is ? The way yall's claims and comments about penalties, discipline etc.. would have any legitimacy, would be if wos were the only team in state that got penalized, i already know what the response will be " you don't care about other teams penalties " neither do i , but yall don't care about wos's penalties either, talking about penalties is just the cover to do what yall really want to do, discredit the current staff every chance you get

So you’re saying his ego got hurt and he took it out on the kids? The JV kids could have played earlier. No need to keep starters into the 4th. The starting QB scored a TD with 3 mins to go. Some people can’t be convinced.

I would have agreed with your statement above if I didn’t know the actual truth behind it. Hardin and Warren coaches both Agreed at halftime that Warren would kick the ball of to Hardin and the clock would run the rest of the half. Warrens coach got cute and decided to onside kick the ball. (All Bets off after that) Run it up if you don’t want to do what you agreed to do. Those reception with 2 minutes to go where JV kids so they got some playing time and some Varsity experience!

Van Vandals. Ive heard some possible locations and times but nothing set as of now. @AggiesAreWe will let us know soon i hope

Well, the more I think about it Pujols would be a tremendous draw. He is well liked by everyone including the media. It would give the Astros a good PR shot in the arm as they need. Plus, who wouldn’t wanna play for Albert Pujols. His baseball mentality may be infectious.

Well, Pujols was a great player? I’m not sure what kind of manager he would be. I know Brad Ausmus has proven to be a good player, coach and is well liked, so I’m rooting for Brad. I bet that’s who’s Bagwell’s pulling for as well.

Any idea who we play next? That # 1 is a player he was all over that field last night.

Anyone know if the Sterling vs willowridge game will be streamed anywhere today? It would be fun to watch who we will play next week.

3A D1 Region III East Chambers vs. Fairfield Friday, November 13 7pm Willis

Tri-District Champs. Tied with Hardin and Newton. Newton is the #1 seed based on the three way tie point system. NW #2 Hardin #3

It was a 3 way tie for 1st. But they will be the 2 seed.

Count some real points out there

Congrats brother. Thats more than all the seasons i have played. Havr not counted mine yet. In the woods

Easily correctable if they prioritize it. Its been happening since week 1 and still not corrected. Gives a negative impression of our program that should be one of the top ranked and most prestigious in the state. Reminds me of the old saying "your reputation precedes you." I remember when our reputation had opponents beat before they got off the bus too. Congrats to Coach Hickman for back to back undefeated district championships. Now lets go continue to streak. 6 more games to become elite. Hooks in 7 Thompson in 6 Hickman in 5 ??? Its still possible WOS 112%

Promoting axe murder since 1979. What a strange place.

He is definitely a good one!!

I grew up in a football first household. Indians, Cowboys and Oilers.. In that order. My first year of School at Ridgewood was an election year. We had to choose what party we were. I chose Independent so I could wear a purple I on my shirt all day. Basically I thought it was Indian! I used to ride my bike to school, steal a random Port Arthur News off a driveway to go over district stats for the weeks game. The 8os were rough for PNG. We could only beat Nederland it seemed like! My freshman year at PNG I had English first period, first Friday of football I got sent to the office for reading the paper! I needed my stats and info, and I always made sure I had my “I beat Bob West” pics sent in on time. And yes I beat him several times and had proof! I have been lucky enough to see 3 PNG state championship games. As well as 3 quarterfinal games. Not bad for a school that uses home grown talent. Small towns and Friday night lights are always and will always be the best times of your life. Times have changed, I used to get on this site religiously, even won the pick ems one year. Was even a pollster. What I will say is this. Even with the times changing, SETX HS Football is the funnest and most die hard in the state of Texas. This board shows the enthusiasm and the desire from so many. It’s what’s makes SETX what it is. So congrats to all the playoff teams. Much luck in the playoffs. And to my Nederland fans, it’s been rough since Uncle Larry left, but I can’t say it upsets me…… Once little brother, always little brother. And to my Indians. Once again, we are district champs, and hopeful to make a playoff push! So this morning I decided I would dedicate a post to Bob West. He covered sports in the area better than anyone… Tom Halliburton as well. So with a no nonsense post, and I’m known for not being a rah rah… Times have changed, but one thing hasn’t. PNG is still on top of the mountain. Old school is for hardware, new school plays for participant ribbons….. Happy Saturday folks!! I’m still bleeding purple till my last breathe!! I won’t bore you will all of it.. 4 time state champs……. PNG….. Enough Said!!
