In our game we began pulling in the 3rd. Especially at certain positions. By 4th it was pretty much getting everyone a chance to play.

I think he has really grown also.but, I think what seperates great teams.are the staff included.i really do believe oline and dline coaching alone with a little better discipline.they would be right back at the top.football starts at the line of scrimmage.on both sides of the ball. I think that’s a pretty important part of the discussion when it comes to expectations. Were those great coaches, yes. Would they still have experienced all those state runs without the drop…we’ll never know. 2000 was the year after we didn’t even make the playoffs.

When LP commits a false start or procedure penalty, do the players always drop and do team pushups? I don’t remember seeing that in past seasons. LP’s Sean Simon may be the best north/south RB in SETX. At 5'9" and 195 lbs., he runs with power and he punishes tacklers. 3Q: PAM 27 and LP 24. PAM hit the long pass but couldn't score. LP marched down the field, converted a big 4th and 2, before finishing the drive and punching the ball into the end zone. That possession changed the momentum of the game. Good game by both teams.

Obviously winning out will get you a home game but I also think a close loss to SFA, if it's the only loss, will keep them top 16. I prefer winning out. lol
