Lufkin and United both win would leave United 4-4 Westbrook 4-4 GCM 4-4 H2H would all be 1-1 against each other now so they go to points where United gets left out mainly because the 28-14 loss to Westbrook. And now Westbrook gets in because they end up +7. GCM ends up at +4 and United ends at -11. Lufkin loss and a United win would leave Lufkin 4-4 United 4-4 Westbrook 4-4 GCM 4-4 After H2H United and GCM both get in because they both went 2-1. Westbrook and Lufkin 1-2. No need for points.

Made a change to my Thursday schedule. Going to Stallworth Stadium for Beaumont United at Baytown Sterling. This is basically a play in game (sort of, see playoff scenario thread). Loser of this game is eliminated from playoff contention. I always prefer (most times) attending a "winner take all" type game (elimination game) than a game that both teams will be making the playoffs. Besides, Stallworth is closer than Montgomery. (and I really like Cactus Jack's) I'm still going to attend Shelbyville/SA district championship game.

That is correct. Sterling needs a win and a miracle (Ball over WB and Lufkin over LaPorte). United could miss with a win if Lufkin beats Laporte. Lufkin doesn't want to be in a tied scenario. Ill do another post where I can show everyone how I got there. Might be lengthy.

So basically the Thursday night game of Beaumont United at Baytown Sterling is a playoff game. Loser is out no matter what the other game results end up being. (winner may not get in as well but loser is definitely out) May have to change my Thursday schedule to this game.

Looking at these scenarios, the only difference between them and the point system is the Lufkin and Sterling both win scenario, and Lufkin would be in either way at 5-3. The rest are the same. (Well, RSS would already be technically eliminated in the point system. But, they realistically are in this system as well.)

IDK about dog-walking, but bad tackling and poor pursuit for sure. Without going back and watching replays, it seems like Nederland actually ran the ball better than we did against TC, for ~3 qtrs anyway.

I sure hope that Vautrot's hasn't shut down, and now you got me thinking about golf at Idylwild this week, with lunch afterward at Vautrot's, including blackberry cobbler.
