  1. Past hour
  2. It did sort of remind me of the 2024 game, but with reversed roles.
  3. If u believe that. You wont believe whats coming next
  4. What's the series record between these 2?
  5. What yall thinking..?
  6. Thompson, at least publicly, supported and recommended Hickman for the job. I would suspect some class and respect, but you never know.
  7. Tech and LSU cover. I'll take Ole Miss getting 3.
  8. You obviously don't know the situation like I have been told. But I won't be too surprised if that is the case.
  9. Keeping HF to just 222 yards total offense was a fantastic job by the Tiger defense. Lowest output yardage wise all season for HF. WO-S kind of laid the blueprint out in the 2nd half of their game with how to defend HF. Mix coverages up and bring the house. A defense can do this if they have the speed at linebacker and the secondary can cover. I have been saying this for a while, HF just doesn't run it well enough (or emphasize it enough) to keep good defenses from having to worry about the run game therefore they can bring the heat off the edges without being hurt up the middle. It showed again last night. After staying up late last night watching the game, I believe Silsbee had 5 sacks and countless hurries on the HF QB. I have always said the best pass defense is a great pass rush. Silsbee being able to mix the run with the pass (kind of like what WO-S did) on offense kept HF on their heels that first half. The 2nd half played out like Coach Smith likes to do it. Grind it out and see who is the tougher team. It was a little bit harder for Silsbee to run the ball after their main RB went down in 1st half. This after losing their other main guy two weeks ago. Morris did a tremendous job taking up the slack. Good win for my Tigers. I guess one can now say the actual district championship game was last week and not two weeks ago like some claimed.πŸ˜‰
  10. 2 best athletes on the field...... Poor choices all night long......
  11. If Ned had a passing game, I think they could go a long way. The guys in the trenches are very good
  12. Maybe it was a God thing. Their students and fans were over there blaspheming, so there's that.
  13. I disagree. I feel backups will come early to not make it too ugly out of respect.
  14. Don’t know what the total rushing yards was for the Pirates but we did manage to squeeze in 1 pass play. 😁
  15. πŸ‘€ πŸ‘€ πŸ‘€ Massey had the score about right I guess. You wouldn't know it by looking at the final score but it was a one possession game at the half. 7 year playoff run is all but over Lost halftime again .....story of the season.
  16. I'll be in my usual spot in the press box for this one.
  17. List looks good. I agree.
  18. I noticed that as well. Was discussed up in the box.
  19. #7 Ole Miss at #19 Texas(-3) Texas A&M at #13 Alabama(-13.5) #14 Houston at #10 Utah(-6.5) Pitt at #1 Miami(-20.5) #6 Indiana(-7.5) at Michigan #8 Texas Tech(-11.5) at Cincinnati #18 LSU(-7) at Auburn
  20. Today
  21. PNG gave the ball to their best player and told him to go win the game. Nederland’s 2 best watched from the sidelines a lot at the end.
  22. Huffman knew they were gonna get 70 dropped on them. They were just hoping they could score 71. Vidor got a few stops. Huffman got 1. Such a joke.Vidor did a good job of stunts and mixing up the defensive fronts. They did exactly what they needed to do. Huffman on the other hand is exactly what I said they were. TERRIBLE on defense. All these kids talking about Huffman's "5 man front" lol. GTFOH with that. I'll say it again. This district is terrible. LCM and Vidor are okay this year (LCM was better last year), but everyone else is really down. Lucky for them they catch ACTUAL HISD schools in round 1. After that, well it's basketball season.
  23. The playoff picture is getting a lot clearer with only a couple weeks left in the regular season. I’ve watched a few different teams in the region and if I had to do a top 10 in the region this is what it would be… 1. West Orange Stark 2. Silsbee 3. Hamshire Fannett 4. Canton 5. Bellville 6. Athens 7. Houston Yates 8. La Grange (When healthy) 9. La Marque 10. Madisonville This is just my opinion… Playoffs will be fun for this region.
  24. We'll give yall another defense lesson soon. Are yall competent enough as a team, not even offense, as a team to score this season on us???? I do remember a recent game where we threw 101 ints and yall still couldn't score, not even a FG. Will that change this time???
  25. A little zoology lesson for you. Wolves don’t hibernate. However, I do get your point. 😎
