Thursday: Huntsville at Montgomery - District Championship Friday: Fairfield at Trinity. I think the Frito pie is pretty good there.

Its senior night, so I doubt it...I know LaPorte's HC is ultra-competitive and considering what happened to them last year in Rd 1 I dont see them taking anything for granted or turning it down Week 11

Friday Magnolia West at Tomball Memorial. Saturday gonna be looking for that deer chili at the Lamar game! LOL

It was pretty much expected that this game would be for the District championship. Both teams have nearly identical scores through the rest of the District games. Last year the Montgomery RB ran wild on the Huntsville defense. We will see if the Hornets can slow down that rushing attack. Huntsville also runs the ball well. Montgomery is better in the passing game. I’d lean with Montgomery, but the Hornets are playing good football. So, I wouldn’t be surprised either way. I’ll be there Thursday night.

Could see Kirbyville/EC being closer but the others seem about right in my opinion. Do EC’s turnover issues haunt them in the playoffs?

And now Westbrook gets in because they end up +7. GCM ends up at +4 and United ends at -11. Lufkin loss and a United win would leave Lufkin 4-4 United 4-4 Westbrook 4-4 GCM 4-4 After H2H United and GCM both get in because they both went 2-1. Westbrook and Lufkin 1-2. No need for points. Lufkin and Sterling win would leave Lufkin 4-4 Sterling 4-4 Westbrook 4-4 GCM 4-4 H2H would have Lufkin and GCM 2-1 vs the field and WestBrook and Sterling both 1-2. Made a change to my Thursday schedule. Going to Stallworth Stadium for Beaumont United at Baytown Sterling. This is basically a play in game (sort of, see playoff scenario thread). Loser of this game is eliminated from playoff contention. I always prefer (most times) attending a "winner take all" type game (elimination game) than a game that both teams will be making the playoffs. Besides, Stallworth is closer than Montgomery. (and I really like Cactus Jack's) I'm still going to attend Shelbyville/SA district championship game.

That is correct. Sterling needs a win and a miracle (Ball over WB and Lufkin over LaPorte). United could miss with a win if Lufkin beats Laporte. Lufkin doesn't want to be in a tied scenario. Ill do another post where I can show everyone how I got there. Might be lengthy.

I did my best to inform. My only miss was 9-5A D1. Didn't know their 4 way tiebreaker was head to head first. All the other district scenarios should be accurate from the info I received from coaches in those districts.

No doubt. It’s frustrating for fans to have to guess from district to district. It’s Week 11 and still nobody actually knows.
