  1. Past hour
  2. Why did the Coaches not go with the QB Collins player on last drive??? He can run and scramble a lot better and that sack killed us. Either way Big Ned was out coached again. Also what is up with the players wearing gold jerseys on the sidelines? I feel some of them play JV and curious why they are dressed in shorts and gold jerseys and not playing.
  3. I was told the numbers dwindled from the start of the season till this week. Only about 45 in the whole program.
  4. Good thing is that it should begin to turn next year if they can keep everyone in house.
  5. With them still having to face WO-S and Hamshire-Fannett, I'm going to have to look up the last time Jasper went winless in district and the last time they missed the playoffs in back to back years.
  6. Thanks for the info. Tough break for sure.
  7. Can confirm that an inadvertent whistle killed the play a split second before our dude with 4.5 speed and nobody between him and the Silsbee endzone recovered it. Silsbee took the lead the next play. What’s even wilder is we recovered a fumble in bounds the play before and it was ruled out.
  8. Jasper needs to run the "50" like CT used to run at WOS.
  9. This catch has to be seen to be believed. This is NFL stuff! [Hidden Content]
  10. It was definitely an odd situation. Appeared to me to be a fumble. What made it strange was after the play... officials went to both coaches for quite a while. The white hat went to the Silsbee sideline which was quite odd as Silsbee maintained possession. It left the umpire discussing with the HF coaches. I assumed there was going to be an inadvertent wistle that would have given HF the ball but no advancing of it as the player recovering the ball was not down. Not sure if the officials deemed in was not a fumble or if there was a fumble but an inadvertent whistle before the recovery. The long discussion leads me to think an inadvertent whistle stopped the opportunity from a recovery of the fumble and Silsbee simply maintained possession. However, it may be that there was no fumble according to the officials. Again, the strange sequence after the play leaves me still not sure of the official call on the field other than Silsbee maintained possession.
  11. Wish it was made easier to find. I missed seeing the stats in the newspaper. Now its almost impossible to find them
  12. No, they scored 83 against baytown lee i think in 2016. Maybe it was 2015.
  13. Valcin missed most of the game. Looked like shoulder. We missed him.
  14. I was off 11 points.
  15. Tough lesson to learn for the Falcons. This was actually pretty easy to predict. I could see it coming a mile away. I'm not sure how you get over confident after getting beat by Shepherd, Liberty and Splendora but here we are. How many rushing yards did Vidor have? 600?
  16. Good game, Nederland. Evenly matched game that could have gone either way. Both teams played hard and played well. Glad PN-G won, glad no one was seriously injured on either team, and see the Dogs again at MCM in baseball season. GO INDIANS.
  17. PNG destroyed Texas City 55-23 and Dayton 42-0 and had backups in the 3rd Qtr. in both games. We'll see how Nederland responds.
  18. Although I picked NS, I can't really say I'm surprised about this outcome.
  19. Always funny to come back and see people’s predictions and how horrible the takes are…
  20. Most points ever for Vidor?
  21. I have a co-worker who has a son on CE King's freshman team and he told me that King could go toe to toe with North Shore and I laughed at him. I guess he will have the last laugh at the office on Monday.
  22. It was after the huddle broke and they were already in formation and 12th player had run off when he called TO. That’s why he called TO. Thought he could make that argument. It almost worked 🤣.
