All that prediction stuff is real comedy anyways, we are always picked to lose.  Nederland will bring it again this Saturday! We are all in for ANOTHER great performance!

GO BULLDOGS!!!!!!
You were predicted to win last week against the #1 team in the State.

Heres what they have for team scoring averages:
Team Scoring Averages
School Name Q1 Q2 Q3 Q4 Final
Georgetown       15.2  16.8  11.1 5.0 46.9
Nederland         9.2    9.9 6.2    8.1 29.8

So Go show them.. How numbers on paper/computer screens are never what the end result is. :)

NEDERLAND VS. GEORGETOWN
UPCOMING GAME SCHEDULED FOR: 12/8/2012 3:00 PM
Georgetown is predicted to win over Nederland.

JUST makes our victory that much better when we SHOCK THE STATE, again.
Interesting that Nederland is picked to win against the #1 team, but picked to lose against an unranked team.  That goes to show you how accurate the polls are.  How undefeated Georgetown isn't ranked even in the Top 20 is beyond me.  I bet Summer Creek and Angleton would rank them now.  I think the winner of this game will be in Cowboys Stadium on Dec 22.

Georgetown was number 13 in the AP poll at the end of the year. And this game hasn't been predicted by Maxpreps yet. the 40 to 20 score or whatever is based on season averages of how much they score every quarter and is in no way a prediction, just a lining up of stats.

Max preps did predict Georgetown to win.  That quote is straight off of their site.

Ok, well Texas Football has them at #23.  I was responding to the earlier post that said MaxPreps has Georgetown predicted to win over Nederland.  I understand stats.
You said Georgetown wasn't ranked in the top 20, and yet that same ranking system has Dawson at number 1 because it was done at the end of the regular season. 3 Wins later of course Georgetown is ranked in the top 20, top 10 even now. And I'm just saying Maxpreps hasn't predicted a winner yet.

    • Brewster….lmao. Watch that every time it’s on.    Great post.
    • A few Board of Regents agree for sure. Some administrative changes were based in large part on those moves.  Sam Houston is the only one this remotely did any service and of course they moved on as well.
    • The greatest point on all of this, and exactly what makes it a great day in SE Texas is the commercials are over!!!!  Phelan wasn’t all bad, Covey wasn’t all bad, but by the end of it I would have voted for Brewster’s “None of the above!”  Politicians serve their own interests and everyone’s politician is bad (except for theirs of course).  I personally am for: 1) Higher fuel prices, 2) More taxes and restrictions on private property owners, 3) Cancelling student-loan and even credit card debt, 4) Covid restrictions (bring back masks) 5) Giving more tax money away to countries at war (except Israel), 6) Tearing apart the nuclear family 7) Supporting college kids to protest anything and everything they want with no consequences, 😎 Higher and higher food prices 😎  Go Biden/Harris - just MASA (Make America Soft Again), Beto for a high-cabinet spot.
    • Thanks for the info, I didn't check the primary vote count.  I was posing that, based on anecdotal evidence, many who did not vote in the primary showed up for the runoff, and apparently voted for Phelan.  My next door neighbors were two that voted runoff only and voted for Covey, so it went both ways I guess.   The Houston Chronicle posted quotes from Covey accusing many Dems of voting in the runoff.  Obviously if they were able to vote in the runoff then they didn't vote in the primary, unless the voted in the Rep primary to begin with of course. .  "Covey’s campaign released a lengthy statement after the results came in, calling Phelan an “Austin swamp creature and King of the Democrats.” The campaign accused Phelan of courting Democrat voters in Jefferson County to bolster his early vote numbers, but Covey did not say he would seek a recount." Anyway, it looks like it's a done deal, until November.
    • WooHoo, the RANGERS win today 6-1 and win the series with arizona. 1st series win in the last 6. Maybe things are starting to change!!!
