1. You're right they haven't been watching film all week and breaking down what Nederland does. You already shocked the world last week, Georgetown's turn.

The ambulance crew will handle them just fine. I don't wish any boys to be hurt, but the Eagles are the hardest hitting team you'll ever see. They'll also be the last team you'll see this year...
Funny how that applies to GT. Ned is the most physical team in 4a, ask anybody who we have played. GT will defiantly be barely walking at the end of the game, especially that jake kid.
The only time that jake kid will be touching the turf is when he's kneeling in victory formation.
Georgetown travels pretty well themselves
Well then why a stadium with only 11,000 capacity??  Was there nothing available that could accommodate more fans...from both sides?
They filled their home side of a 10200 side stadium last week I doubt they just didn't want more Georgetown fans this time.
I watched the Angleton/Georgetown game last week....you did not pack it , there were empty seats all around...saw it for myself in the game video.  Regardless, you still bring a nice crowd. NEDERLAND LOUD CROWD will be out in full force Saturday!!!! GO BULLDOGS!!!!!!
Uhhhh yeah I was there too, if there were empty seats it was on the Angleton side. Does your coach make the boys eat cheeseburgers when it's time to condition at practice?  :o
It doesn't help them that some players play both ways, with Georgetown running the hurry up down the field , those Nederland players are gonna be huffing and puffing.
People been saying that all year. Change the record already.
They don't run it like Georgetown.
Everyone said that too man. "Noone's offense can touch ours." Crosby said it. Conally said it. Pd said it.
I doubt Connally said it considering their D1 QB was out...and all of those teams are out, Georgetown is still here. I don't even need to explain it, you'll see in two days.

 7.
Ok, well Texas Football has them at #23.  I was responding to the earlier post that said MaxPreps has Georgetown predicted to win over Nederland.  I understand stats.
You said Georgetown wasn't ranked in the top 20, and yet that same ranking system has Dawson at number 1 because it was done at the end of the regular season. 3 Wins later of course Georgetown is ranked in the top 20, top 10 even now. And I'm just saying Maxpreps hasn't predicted a winner yet.

GEORGETOWN UPCOMING GAME SCHEDULED FOR: 12/8/2012 3:00 PM Georgetown is predicted to win over Nederland. Posted: Yesterday JUST makes our victory that much better when we SHOCK THE STATE, again.
Interesting that Nederland is picked to win against the #1 team, but picked to lose against an unranked team.  That goes to show you how accurate the polls are.  How undefeated Georgetown isn't ranked even in the Top 20 is beyond me.  I bet Summer Creek and Angleton would rank them now.  I think the winner of this game will be in Cowboys Stadium on Dec 22.
Georgetown was number 13 in the AP poll at the end of the year. And this game hasn't been predicted by Maxpreps yet. the 40 to 20 score or whatever is based on season averages of how much they score every quarter and is in no way a prediction, just a lining up of stats.
 9. Pretty good! I prefer this one myself. [Hidden Content]
 10.
GT played nobody during reg season. They were scared to put the likes of Lake Travis or Westwood on the schedule. I lived there three years an always knew who the better teams in the area where. Elgin, Bastrop, and Manor they blew out only to make them stronger for the post season. Nederland's Defense is for real like the folks say!!  An yeah Manor still in it too shouts out to friends that rep Manor. But the biggest school they played was McNeil an they've been the area's doormat for the longest an they put up 20 on GT. com on man!!
So how about the teams they played in the playoffs? Summer Creek? Angleton? Is that not impressive at all? And actually McNeil put up 6 points on the Georgetown stating defense. With the score 36-6 at halftime the coach put in back ups in the second half.
