anyone who was at that game last night know Dawson was luck to have even been in that game at the end. Nederland Defense dominated for 3 quarters and then a phantom hands to the face penalty after a good Bulldog stand on 4th down extended their drive allowing them to make their second touchdown. Then to add insult to injury the game clock expired before they kicked the game tying field goal. Nederland had to beat the refs at  the endof this game and won this game twice. Luck had nothing to do with shutting out a talented but undisciplined Dawson team. We didnt get to this point in the playoffs by luck. Face it Nederland Bulldogs are good!

[/quote]Have to agree luck don't shut the #1 team down till the end of the 3rd quarter nor does it give them the win in O.T. to hold them to a f.g! Face it they lost the better team won they could have held ground in O.T. but guess what it's over!!!!!!!!!! Maybe next year :'(

Well then it looks as if NED has more luck than PD has talent....NED surely has more heart and class...you'll never see the Black and Gold falling all over the the place like a bunch of drama queens after losing a game...
they pull themselves up, shake thei opponents hands at midfield and go on about their business, without the whining and hysterics.  That was PA-THE-TIC !!!

      I liked his no bull crap attitude. He was a man of very few words. Extremely strong and freaky athletic!!! As close as possible to being the best offensive lineman to ever play the game. I hope his family finds peace without him!!! RIP #73

      Chester, a small town in NE Tyler County.  A town that is seeing growth with the addition of a national chain store and a new school being built.  If you travel 287 toward Dallas from the Golden Triangle you have probably passed through Chester.  Things tend to stay pretty consistent and it is your typical small town.   A trip to state is the buzz around town, and the talk before church services begin on Sunday.  This year’s graduating class will number 11.  We don’t have a radio station that covers the Yellowjackets.  We are never a lead story on any of the news stations that broadcast to our community. With all that said, there is a closeness and sense of pride in our community.  Every community rallies behind their kids as they progress into the playoffs.  We are proud of our boys as they have represented our community well and with class.
