I have been hearing about this facility, first time to see it.  Very nice.  Looks alot like Tatum's and Woden's with some improvements.
I thought education in Texas was going broke?

Glen Rose is where EC's Kenny Hoffpauir formally coached at. Incidentally, EC's new facility, while styled differently, is just as nice, IMO.

We get mad at the State because they are laying off teachers and then we see this. No wonder we can't afford teachers.

I seriously doubt that state funds were used for this place...This was likely 100% local! ;)

How much does the school earn for the use of their gym during playoffs?  It looks like they are trying to promote it for the playoffs..

Well the price they charge would not be anymore than what is standard...I am certain that this place is probably fought over for basketball and volleyball playoffs...They will probably have a guest in there for each game leading up to regionals! That is such a nice facility... 8)

[/quote]For that area, its probably compared to a top NBA facility and a nice place to attend after herding cattle all day. Which reminds me, if you a city boy, never go out with ropers because they party like there is no tomorrow. ;)

It looks alot like the gym at Tenaha. Tenaha hosts several tourney's and once you have been there you'll know why. Great seating, awesome dining and freindly personel.
