Introductions

Just courious on how many setx schools introduce players and coaches before games. We have always done it as a tradition but I believe there are three in our district that dont and two of those are more toward setx........ Is it common in most places?

introductions are fine,but the teams that have the bench player on the court doing the cheerleader jumps,spin,twist,salute, patty cake hand slap routines with starters are taking it to far.

Yes, and they kept playing the music after timouts.  After the music goes off, you get the loud squeeking noise.  At what point was they going to realize they needed to start turning the sound system off BEFORE the music to save the fan's ear drums from bleeding?  They would have done better off not playing anything.

Is there a problem with introductions? We are talking about kids here and if I'm not mistaken they are only imitating what's done on the college and NBA level. As long as it's not offensive or derogatory or demeaning in any way I say let them have their 1 minute of fun. I don't think that it's as bad as the national anthem dragging out for 6 minutes and again IMO....
