along with five of my Pirate friends: Quirante, Collins, Bolinger, Abshire and Dahlenburg. Please let me know if I left anyone out. Hampshire Fannett, I hope you enjoyed your victory. It won't happen again this season. Let's see if my boys can make some noise in this sport now. (P.S., it sure was great to have to wait until football season was over. And I'm a B-Ball fan....)

I will say it sure was nice to hang out on the football boards for an extra 3 weeks tho ;-D Wouldn't it be nice if that became a habit :-D

I think that we're really close to seeing it come to fruition. Playoffs two of three years and really should have gone in 2008. Most of the team back next (especially defense). Now, I just want to see the basketball team get back to the levels of acheivement I know it can reach and I think we have the right coach to do it with.

I too think you have a good coach in Coach Larry Sterling and he should do good things with that program. With that said, there was nothing wrong with the coach you had in Zach Quinn. I have always been impressed with Zach and was really taken aback when he decided to get out of coaching so soon. But, I cannot blame him for trying to move up that administrative ladder. He obviously has bigger aspirations than just being a basketball coach and kudos to him for making that step forward.

I still wouldn't mind seeing Zach back coaching somewhere.
