Yall keep saying the special teams and defense keeps you in the games...well what happens when you meet a team with just as good a special teams, and a better defense??

If our O can't put enough points on the board...what differance does it make how good a defense is. ;D
Oh and if your saying Silsbee's defense is better than WO-S...That's a stretch. Will find out tonight if me or you know what we are talking about. ;D

heck i will give you a better one than that  smiles (1) first down agnest HF at hafetime. IMO the play calling by the OC  (STINKS) this one sticks out in my old mind 3 down and less than a inc  the OC calls for a time out and opens his play book lets see here this play just might work FG time and missed it not to smart becouse lindsey was haveing a good game .

How bout last week Skip.4th and one to keep the ball away from BC in the closing minutes.BC stacks the line with every body they have...what's the call, straight at their strength and got caught behind the line.To be fair though a lot what looks like a bad call is just poor execution on the play. Not the OC fault all the time.

did wo-s only have one in the bakfield at that time belive it was little salter correct me on that one gunho
I don't recall Skip. But from the formation there wasn't but one place the ball was going and everyone in the stadium knew it.As for as Salter goes, just as soon he not run the ball.Seems like more bad things than good happen when he does. Not dishing him,he's just not a good running QB imo.

What kills me is when he (the wos oc) will go from running the ball down peoples throats on first and second down for most of the game, then just switches to throwing bombs on first and second down winding up in third and long or an int.

"WOS GAME-PLAN"    On the first play WOS will let Silsbee have an easy touch-down.  Silsbee will get over-confidant and start thinking that this game is going to be easy. For the next 3-1/2 quarters WOS will lolly-gag around. With 6 minutes left in the game, WOS injured players will be suddenly healed, go out on the field and wreak havoc. This is the same game plan WOS has used in all of the other district games this year.

AAW, you know that is not a good measure because Silsbee has played HJ. WOS has not, obvously the weakest team in the district.

no matter how we all look at this game its going to be a war  the kids from silsbee are ready ans same goes for the mustangs.ok now turnovers in this game might be the key who will have less the mustangs are on a high comming off the big win of bridge city the kids made the big stops when thay needed to and now thay are starting to belive in themself agan.on the very first play bridge city scored becouse there was no one there to cover the wide out easy 6 points  just like in the oragefield game short high kick to the open spot orangefield made that look easy its just the little things that are hurting the mustangs at this point

I agree.  It SEEMS like WOS will run, run, run with success and the first time the run is stopped the downfield passing starts.

    • I still can't believe SETX Lamar and SFA thought they would ever fit in the WAC. The logistics are incredibly bad. Couldn't they see that?
    • This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up This is a tragic day for America. The guilty verdict issued hours ago against former President Donald Trump is a clear abuse of our justice system. This politically motivated and stacked trial is what we have come to expect in communist China or North Korea—not in the United States of America.   The totalitarian impulse of the neo-Marxist Left is to suppress and silence political opposition using any means necessary.    But here’s what we must understand: What just happened is not only about Donald Trump, and it will not stop with him.   The Left is not only waging legal warfare against Donald Trump. They are attempting to prevent half the country from having any say in the governance of our nation, and they have weaponized the legal system to ensure their success at any cost.    They are already using our legal system to go after pro-life activists and patriotic Christians who defend religious liberty. The Deep State is spying on conservative parents and churches, treating them like enemies of the state. They have even gone so far as to compare caring parents to terrorists.    The Left has repeatedly contested that conservatives are a threat to our democracy. Yet, they are the ones who are aggressively attacking our Constitutional Republic with blatant disregard for our fundamental rights. We cannot remain silent against such explicit tyranny.   Today's verdict is a clarion call for every God-fearing, America-loving Christian and our fellow citizens who believe in faith, family, and freedom to run, walk, or crawl, if necessary, to the polls this November. Gary Bauer, Senior Vice President of Public Policy  James Dobson Family Institute
