USA Women in WC Finals! Game Sunday!

Gotta hand it to France. They pushed us hard, and played a clean, clean game (unlike dirty Brazil). No cards for either side at all. USA scored early, France equalized right after half. USA regrouped and sealed it with two quick goals with about 10 min. to go. Now, lets take it HOME! USA, USA, USA!!  ;D

Some key substitutions helped in this one because in the first part of the 2nd half, France definitely had the better of it.

The Japanese attack could wreak havoc on our ladies.  Hope we can get a early header from Lady W... and pressure them.  The japanese however are very creative with their attack ad movement.  Could be a very entertaining game.

Yep! The Japaneese have great skill and a great attack. However, after reviewing the Japan roster, we do have a clear height and physical advantage. Our team has a "can't lose" mentality, too. GO USA!!

I  believe we will win out with our attitude.  The Germans and the Swedes had height advantages over the USA also haha.  But USA are playing good enough to win it all.

Terrible showing by the US.  they should've won 4 or 5-0 in regulation, but couldn't score.  then they couldn't hold a lead.  twice.  then in the shootout, the first 3 pks were absolute garbage, combined with a fairly easy save that solo let go through/under her hand.  The US was twice the team Japan was.  They had to work hard to lose this game.

USA was the better team, but not today. Japan won it fair and square.
