How do yall see that district turning out next year?? With Anahuac bringing back Albritton, Newton with Holmes, Woodville with Lockhart, and EC with Roberts. Its gonna be tough next year. IMO this is how it could turn out:

1. Anahuac (7-0)
2. Woodville (6-1)
3. Winnie East Chambers (5-2)
4. Newton (4-3)
5. Buna (2-5)
6. Hardin (2-5)
7. Kountze (1-6)
8. Warren (0-7)

seems bout right to me.  But I think it will be

1. Anahuac 6-1                 
2. East Chambers 6-1     
3. Woodville 6-1           
4. Newton 4-3
5. Buna 3-4
6. Hardin 2-5
7. Kountze 1-6
8. Warren 0-7

Not sure how the tie breaker will go

Yep. I love the two picks, 2nd and 3rd. This year, EC, despite a 15 consecutive year playoff streak and a coming off a [i]third round[/i] season in '09, was all but totally discounted. I hope everyone ignores the Bucs again!  ;D

Who will play quarterback for EC next year?

EC was cochamps with Anahuac weren't they.  They had the same record.

This one was odd. Because Anahuac actually had a better record than EC overall. But EC beat Anahuac. Anahuac beat Buna. Buna beat EC. Anahuac and EC finish with same district record. EC beat Anahuac=first tie-breaker. EC is the champ.

woodville will be loaded with young talent.  newton will be much better defensively.  anahuac will have albritton, but not so sure they have the line they need - who will be the qb there.  ec will have to to some building, but it always seem to get done.  as for the rest - well.

umm tell me thats not your predictions for next year....if so, then you must not know much about any other team in AA besides newton. Warren and Kountze above two of the top 3 teams in the district?? no. Warren and kountze will be terrible. Kountze lost the only weapons they had and warren never had any. Woodville will, as was said earlier, loaded with talent. Lockhart, probably the best athlete in the district along with albritton, will demolish the defenses in this district. Buna will be decent. Anahuac wont be as good. Hardin will be worse. Newton will be worse. They lost their two top running backs and the only true lineman they had. Let me relook this district:

4. Newton
5. Buna
6. Hardin
7. Kountze
8. Warren

hahaha youre a joke. the only completely ridiculous thing is warren kountze and hardin over woodville and EC. woodville will be one of the top teams in the district. EC wont be as good. But will still be decent. dont be stupid. Use your head.

ok. But do you remember them getting beat by warren, or kountze, or hardin, or buna? No. Dont hate on woodville. Anyone who saw the Newton/Woodville game last year knows that Woodville outplayed newton for most of that game. It was a great game with two great teams. Newton slipped by with a win.

Youre right. And i think coach fentress is taking good steps to get that taken care of. Theyre definitely moving in the right direction though. And who knows? this senior bunch for woodville beat newton in eighth grade ;) hahahahahaha and thats without lockhart, harrison, and two of teir starting lineman which will be juniors next year. lol obviously that doesnt mean much. But woodville did outplay newton this past year.

discpline is what its all about and thats why we wear it on shirts before every game because to be honest ec doesnt have the athletes that most schools they play do but the have more discpline and thats why we are able to achieve more
