Well, let's let all of the facts get out before pointing fingers here.  We don't know if the player is indeed ineligible, that is being investigated.  If he is, let's not automatically assume the level of knowledge that anyone on the coaching staff had.

Good point.  I believe other school districts are doing the same thing.  I wonder how UIL considers these.

Thanks, Grad.  If anyone knows Coach Crouch, they know he is without a doubt on top of things and as honest as they come.  No way he would do ANYTHING to risk any kind of violation.

Really. Seems a little strange. Someone must really be on top of his whereabouts to know he has moved while his family takes a trip somewhere.

For the record I am not trying to be a jerk. Just sounds like a really big deal being made out of something if it is that simple. You start talking about putting a player and school in a situation where there wins are vacated you better have some good evidence.

i can think of a situation back in the day where a kids parents went on a business trip and the kid went to stay with his granny, well the lovely neighbor of the granny went to the neighboring school and rumors swirled. not gonna say the schools names but they were rivals, go figure.

I agree with AIKFAN.  You would think a reputable news station like KFDM would gather facts before breaking a story like this.  Why would a news station report "hearsay" from a letter that was sent to them anonymously?  I know if I was a reporter I would not put my good name on the line for something that is not confirmed as factual information.  What keeps anyone from sending letters like this out to every other school in the district?
