[/quote]Yep...  I agree.  I remember the '04 team didn't score their first points till week 4 vs Nederland and lost that game 55-8.  We took blowouts to Brook, Jasper, WO-S.  After that, we became somewhat competetive.  Still ended the season @ 1-9..

Considering the years that Washington has been there, I'm not sure this analogy flies, he may have been the second fiddle but he was tuned in the same fights as Stowers.

[/quote]I'd agree if we are better prepared. The wide outs must be threats. Our running game must be a threat. Heard did break one, but we never were threats to PAM or Brook. Teams will load up on us. I sure hope the young QB finishes the season. Our wide outs need to run their routs, they stop or trot too much. I saw numerous times they were in the same area, within 2 to three yds from each other. Mitchell/s the real deal if he gets help. We need to be more physical too. Come on Oline, stay on your blocks.! I'm going to say, if I see it the coaches should. We've been here before and turned it around. Not gonna give up on my Jags. Hope we can fight back.

After giving up 93 points to 2 teams that will battle for 1st and 2nd in their 5a district this year while only scoring 7, Central goes back to I formation primarily and squeaks by Galveston Ball, runs the table in district (7-0) before loosing to Friendswood in the 3rd round of the playoffs again.  8) 8) 8)
