Pitiful game by Crosby.  Don't know if the true colors are coming out, but I think thats what happens when the kids get the big head and think they can walk in and the other team will lay down.  This is varsity and you can't spot any team 6 runs with errors on routine plays and expect to win.  Bad plays, no hitting in the clutch and questionable coaching decisions equals a loss.

Lets see if Wiggins can motivate the players get serious and play the game they are capable of.  A lineup change was needed and to his credit he did that (although more was needed), but why bring JV players up to start a game?  Have you no confidence in any of other 10 players on the bench that are your VARSITY players?

Big game against KP coming up.  Who threw last night?  This district could get interesting again with even CE King and Dayton playing much better.

Hebert started, Upshaw relieved in 2nd or 3rd inning.  But after 2 innings it was 8-2 King.  To King's credit they were hitting the ball.  Hebert had no help from his teammates on the field.  Thinking back on it, if King could catch a fly ball the game would not have been that close, they dropped 3 or 4.  Horrible.

Why wouldn't you throw Gabby or Ressler unless you were taking them lightly or you have some sore arms?

Takng them too lightly yes.  Ressler pitched against GP earlier this week and I guess they were saving Gabby for K-Park.

We dropped 3. We did play horrible defense. The difference between us and them last night is that we rallied around each other and came together, it didn't seem like Crosby did.

No, what's [b]sad[/b] is comments like this from parents. King was lucky to win that game bottom line. Errors killed us, but they still won. People can say what they want, it's part of the game. Get over it. They went out and beat KP [b]again[/b]. Something King won't do!! I do agree about the JV player, we have other kids that should have been in that spot.

King had just as many errors as Crosby did, so no one was LUCKY to win. If you consider 8-2 at the end of the 2nd inning lucky then maybe Crosby was lucky to be close at the end.

You are so right donot let anyone take anything away from you boys at King. You play with alot heart and you had a chance to beat other teams other teams. Only lost to GP by 1 and had GCM down early.
