[/quote]The hit was about 5 years back so it could not have been Frank. I remember it well the Dayton QB was Micah Peoples who as I recall was the backup to Lloyd Ligons--Ford is correct though #7 had been "running his head" and was trying to deliver a blow and got cranked. Peoples was carrying the ball and dropped the hammer on #7 who layed on the ground for a while then got up and went down again----hardest hit that I have seen as well.

He moves to Dayton and makes only 2nd team all district..His junior year in Crosby he is first team all-district...Must be the coaching!!!!!!!!!

2. Crosby's undefeated district run has an asterisk beside it.  This asterisk denotes the fact that every now and then the universe farts and crosby makes it through district undefeated.

[/quote]by rankings maybe in the region but not overall, the top 3 were in Div I.  Rankings don't step on the field, players do!  And Dawson and Lake Travis would have rolled ya!!!

Angleton, Brenham and PNG were all ranked higher than Fwood, Crosby and Dawson.

you are right... rankings don't play games, but when the teams don't get to play each other.... it's what we got

It's all about matchups and our D was playing really well in the playoffs, so I doubt we would've gotten "rolled" but [u]neither of us[/u] can really say. I don't know why you mentioned LT.... You guys didn't make it far enough to play them... we actually have, so we definitely know what they are about.

Wrong again!!!  If you were D2 we would have put y'all out just likwe did in 08.  I know you remember that, and that was one of our less talented teams.  I've said it once and I'll say it again, Crosby is decent at football but not on the same level as Brenham and Dayton.  We play in championships, where Crosby exits in the 2nd round every year.  Come to think of it, I can't think of a sport where y'all are better than Brenham.  Crosby's goal is to make the 2nd round.  Brenham's goal is to win a championship.  Just making the playoffs, only satisfies you so many times, but I guess you can't expect much more than that from Crosby.  If y'all can't do anything with that QB in 2010,  I don't know if y'all ever will.
