Central gets miracle win

The Central football team scored two touchdowns in the final two minutes of a miracle 28-24 playoff victory against Huntsville on Saturday at Thorne Stadium in Houston.

Central recovered an onisde kick after Brennan Jackson scored on a 24-yard pass by Donte Wilkerson to cut the margin to 24-21 with 1:46 left. The Jaguars later lined up to kick a field goal, but Jackson ran 20 yards to the end zone on a fake kick attempt with 1:04 left.

The Jaguars advance to the Class 4A Division I regional round. They'll play next weekend.
